"Man...I really enjoyed the flavors of this cigar! I really love coffee and this was coffee for the duration. A funny story on this one is that due to high elevation my jet lighter wouldn’t light. I ended up starting a small campfire by hand with friction and sticks and lit the cigar that way...a first for me, and now I know I’m a survivor..." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"This is a highly intriguing smoke, the flavor profile is very diverse and exceedingly pleasant. While well balanced, the predominant notes of caramel, earth, cherries, and baking spice were most consistent, making this an excellent pairing for a dram of Buffalo Trace or Knob Creek." -Fred L. ·"I enjoyed the change in personality of this cigar. The beginning was a nice start with a sweet smell and flavor only to give way to a bolder, bit stronger flavoring. A peppery flavor emerged in the middle but dissipated towards the end. Overall, a pleasant experience, none like I have ever experienced." -Eric (smalls29)
The original Cigar Dojo Sensei's Sensational Sarsaparilla hit the market seven years ago. Sassy, for short, made a comeback in 2016 with Sensei's Sensational Sarsaparilla II, or Sassy II. Now, in 2021 we get a third release of this cigar, now on a national level. The original Sassy was Cigar Dojo's second collaboration, this time with Erik Espinosa. The original release was a 5½" x 52 belicoso and only 1,000 bundles of 10 were made.
"Great looking and performing lancero. If you like an earthy profile this would be a great choice. I did find that it had a lack of transitions and was a bit one-dimensional. Still, the profile was solid and engaging the entire time." -Alan (Eulogy)
"This to me was just a fantastic smoke. Super rich and chewy all the way to the end. The musty tobacco aroma played nice with the beginning flavors from the cigar. It just felt right in your hand. The roasted flavors mixed with the chocolate and molasses was amazing." -Jake P. (Jake P.)

"Overall, this was an outstanding cigar, all the flavors were very enjoyable with vanilla, baking spice, cedar, cashew, and finishing off with some roasted coffee. The texture and temperature of the cigar was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this cigar to friends and family and look forward to seeing what it is." -Angel M. (Angel)
"Overall, this was a good cigar I felt medium to full-bodied, you definitely want to eat something before you tackle this stick. I prefer a creamier smoke and this one was a bit dry but not enough to be a deterrent. I would definitely smoke this cigar again maybe ending it a little sooner before the harshness took over. All the way through the first, second, and about the middle of the final third the flavors remained fairly consistent with small background changes. For me, the leather, dark chocolate, and cedar dominated regularly throughout the smoke. For me, this will definitely be an evening cigar maybe with an iced coffee to balance out the bit of dryness. Overall, a good cigar and I would definitely smoke it again. " -Angel M. (Angel)
