Overall this was a great smoke. Very well rounded and balanced with some pepper spice at the start that changed into more of an all spice or cinnamon flavor. There was some very good sweetness to it that was almost caramel like during most parts. The draw and burn were both very good as well. This is probably the only cigar that I can remember smoking where I really noticed the aroma and that the wonderful aroma of the cigar did add to the experience. There is no way someone could smell the aroma of this cigar and not fall in love with it.

·"This cigar was a bit of a surprise, given the very mild beginning. I'm not really a fan of mild cigars but the cream and salty peanut/cashew notes were interesting and something I would recommend to anyone to begin their day, or practice retrohaling...really quite enjoyable and an easy to enjoy experience. If you're looking for an easy morning cigar, then this is for you." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
MoyaRuiz Cigars announced it's next release for this year, Civil Disobedience, an event exclusive cigar. The cigar is positioned as aresponse to the new FDA regulartions concerning cigars. The 5 x 50 cigar uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler.
"This is a cigar that I feel could benefit from an extended nap in the humidor to smooth out the edges and let the lesser, more nuanced flavors emerge. As it is, it is a good smoke, but I would hesitate to recommend it to a new smoker, and would certainly not have someone try this one for their first retrohale. Once I find out what this is, I may hunt down a few to bury in the humidor for 12 months or more...just to see what father time can do. " -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
Although not overly complex, this cigar was more than what I expected. I have smoked a few RASS in the past and did not recall them being this good. Smooth, rich, creamy and very enjoyable sums up this cigar quite well. The appearance of the cigar on the pre-light may have led many aficionados to pass on this cigar (me included), but this is the perfect example of "don't judge a book by it's cover." I'll certainly be seeking more of these out.
