"Overall, the cigar was a pleasant experience with a decent level of complexity. The predominant flavors are that of leather, tobacco and cedar. There is also a decent amount of pepper that persists throughout the cigar. I would definitely smoke this one again, but no super premium." -Sandeep (Djangos)
"Excellent cigar. Although not in my typical flavor wheelhouse, I appreciate a rich and powerful cigar. This will be great to smoke a couple of after a grilled fatty steak (like a bone in ribeye). This will probably also hold very well to whiskey, cutting some of the chili bite. I'd seek out a fiver." -Jiunn (jliu)
"This was a wonderful experience. The flavors were nice and constant and never strayed in to bitterness and yuck. The cedar flavor was there from begging to end. The best part was the slightly sweet taste left on the palate. The aroma was that of a cedar log burning in the fireplace that made this one even more enjoyable. Definitely one for the humidor. ·"This was a different than normal experience for me. I have not had too many fruit forward cigars. This one was quite nice. The balance of blackberries, coupled with a nice pepper finish to start, was very enjoyable and had me wanting more cigars in this area. Grab one of these and enjoy the nuances." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

·"Overall, the cigar was smoking pretty well in the beginning. There were interesting flavors and a good burn. But the final third really made it hard to give an overall rating, because this may have just been a one off error, and more than likely was." -Jerad (Cigar Federation)

"I could smoke this cigar any day of the week. Totally enjoyable with three distinct portions each with similar yet nuanced flavors. I would deem this box worthy and I can't wait to find out what it is." -Jack (Jack_H)
"Just in terms of flavor this was actually a very good cigar. The smoke output was creamy, the draw was nice if I held it just right, and it burned well even with an almost destroyed wrapper. The size was very large though and with the lack of profile changes did make it a bit one dimensional." -Alan (Eulogy)
Joya de Nicaragua will expand their modern Joya cigar lineup at the upcoming 2018 IPCPR trade show. The new addition is called Joya Silver, and it will join Joya Red, Joya Black, and Joya Cabinetta in the line. It is the first box pressed entry in this line, and features a wrapper that Joya de Nicaragua classifies as an Oscuro upper-priming wrapper grown in Ecuador. It rounds out with a binder from Mexico and filler leaves from Nicaragua.

·"Great good stuff here. I wanted a bit more power early on, and it finally delivered in the finale. Super chocolaty in the early going, developing to a nice rich espresso finish at the end. If there was any problem here it's that it was maybe just a little too polite to start. I'd still be happy to smoke a ton more. " -John I. (John I.)
