Cigargle was started by Liam King and his two partners, Scott Carr and William King. The group of friends shared a love for cigars, but not so much the cigar-mouth aka bad breath and lingering taste the next day, that came with it. Their wives were also not fans of said cigar breath. As a group, they tried many remedies prescribed by others, mints, mouthwashes, gums, etc. But nothing worked to their satisfaction, so what did they do? Start their own company to solve the problem of course. Cigargle was born.
This case won't be replacing my Cigar Locker for the bulk of my herfs, but I will absolutely use it when the occasion is right like when I plan on only smoking one or two cigars, or an occasion when I won't be handing many out. The next time you find me in a luxurious steakhouse or upscale cigar bar, you will absolutely find the Peter James Cigar Aficionado Case next to me.
Overall, this is a great piece of traditional, yet modern, cigar clothing. I would not hesitate in recommending this for your formal or casual cigar event if you want to stand out a bit from the crowd. The price is right, and the quality is high, so do yourself a favor and check out the Y.A. Bera website.
The wow factor in this case comes from the top. It is a metal accent piece with a nice polished finish. The narrow fins with the black contrast insets are meant to mimic the look of the cooling fins on an engine. Just like the cruiser motorcycles that this look is meant to emulate, the contrast of the black leather against the shiny chrome is a classic look. Even with the v-twin styling, this case would also feel at home in the breast pocket of your favorite business suit.
This year, Xikar debuted two brand new products, the Volta, and the Forte, both of which we covered in depth in our exclusive pre-IPCPR info and reviews. They also showed off a couple new designs, and some changes to older products that you can watch Scott Almsberger - Chief Design Officer & Co- Founder talk about in this video.

Xikar released the HP3 Triple Flame Lighter in 2018 as a followup to 2017's HP4 quad flame lighter we reviewed and loved here. The lighter uses an in-line configuration of triple flames with the outside jets angled 8 degrees toward the center so they converge into one big flame. The HP3 comes in 4 finishes: Burnt Yellow, Daytona Red, Matte Black and G2. My sample is the Daytona red. The HP3 also features a large adjustment wheel, pull-down ignition, and EZ-View Fuel Window. MSRP is $99.99.
That brings us to one of the best features. The price. The MSRP of the Linea is only $29.99. And don't go thinking that this "budget" lighter isn't still a performer. Xikar still backs the Linea with a lifetime warranty, just like the other Xikar lighters that cost two or three times as much. Functionality, efficiency, and reliability all in such a meager price point is not easy to do, but Xikar did it with the Linea. The Linea is available in Yellow (pictured), Red, Blue, and Black. It is available where Xikar products are sold, and at Xikar.com
I really really like this case, I use it almost exclusively if I am bringing more than 2 cigars anywhere. I love that you can fit everything you need, and then some, to smoke a cigar in one place and not worry about forgetting something. Coming in at $65, this really is a no-brainer, and should be at the top of many Christmas wish lists this season.
The hot rod inspired Forte is built on a newly designed chassis, delivering consistent performance, time after time. Designed for the on-the-go lifestyle, choose your style.
