Blind Cigar Review: Crowned Heads | Headley Grange Black Dog Dobles

“This was a not a flavor profile that fit my wheelhouse. Having said that, for someone who likes hazelnut and some black licorice this will be a decent cigar for them. I didn’t like the bitterness of the cigar but it did progress into a tartness that wasn’t distasteful to me. I would have thought the cigar would be stronger than it was given the types of flavors but it remained a medium to full, on the more medium side for me. A decent smoke for a specific palette.” –Diana (ArmyRN)

Blind Cigar Review: Crowned Heads | Las Calaveras 2017 LC46

“I really enjoyed this cigar and would definitely add it to my routine repertoire. I’m not a big pepper fan but the amount of pepper in this cigar was perfect. Not overpowering but well balanced with the other flavors to create a cigar that consistently kept my attention but was also relaxing and smooth. This is a great cigar for either an intermediate or experienced cigar smoker.” -Diana (ArmyRN)

“While a pretty simple stick with no transitions or changes detected from beginning to end, this was still a really good smoke with plenty of flavor provided, a great flavor profile, and no maintenance required. I’d happily smoke this one again and recommend it to a friend. ” -Dave W. (mdwest)

“Really good cigar. Solid core flavors, great initial flavor blast from the closed foot, and some interesting transitions along the way. There were a few minor construction issues, it wasn’t tremendously nuanced and it got a little flat toward the end, but there’s still good stuff happening here. I’d smoke a ton of these. ” -John I. “This cigar was, well, outstanding to me. This is something I could enjoy at any time and could even be something that I’d smoke very regularly. The flavors caught my attention at the beginning and the constant evolution kept me coming back for more. It was a surprisingly long smoking cigar with made it that much better.” -Isaac M. Blind Cigar Review: Don Lopez | El Gran Emperador

“The flavor profile was nice, but was a bit more muted than I would have liked. More defined or bold flavors would have certainly been appreciated. Not by any means a bad experience, but not one that really wowed me in any way either. Not sure I would be interested in giving this one another go anytime soon.” -Dave (mdwest)

Blind Cigar Review: CZ Cigars | Metal Toro

“This was a very good experience. I would have liked a little more complexity and less harshness at the end, but I think with some age these will be great. There were some good, solid espresso and coffee flavors with a good kick of spice, so if those flavors sound like something you would enjoy, I would definitely recommend this cigar. If the price is right, I would pick up a box.” -Emmett (rhetorik)
