·"Overall this was a very nice cigar for me. It started out with a lot of strong pepper spice but then as it went on the spice calmed down but was always there. It became full, thick and creamy and the construction was perfect." -Wes (SosaCub4Life)
Due to an unintentional trademark issue, the La Barba Primitivo has been renamed to Ricochet. This has also led to a slight shipping delay.
Tony Bellatto will soon release The third core line for La Barba Cigars, a company he launched in partnership with Caldwell Cigars back in 2012. The new line will be called Primitivo, and incidentally will also be the first maduro cigar from La Barba. The Primitivo is meant to be a full-bodied blend.
Perhaps the most exciting thing about this booth was the presence of Matt Booth, which signified not only his return to the cigar industry, but that he was collaborating with none other than Robert Caldwell and AJ Fernandez to make some new cigars.

·"Magnificent cigar. Loved it. Perfect format for me personally, and a flavor profile to match. Big, bold flavors of earth with a world wind tour of coffee, molasses, spices, peppercorns and a bit of an anisette flashing around on the finish. Tremendous construction, nearly flawless. Very extremely well made. Nice progression in terms of strength, starts out very manageable and builds to an agreeable and enjoyable full body by the end. Quite possibly the perfect cigar to follow a big meal. I'm buying boxes. No doubt about it. " -John I. (John I.)
Tony Bellatto of La Barba cigars has announced the next in his Ricochet line: Ricochet Mexi-Sol. The Ricochet line is a series meant to go back to Bellatto's roots as a Sommelier, with each of the blends taking a component of wine he has fallen in love with.
In 2016, La Barba Cigars released a cigar called One and Only. At the time, La Barba Founder Tony Bellatto touted the cigar as having well aged tobaccos and a uniques profile. Tony now has a new version to release in 2018 at the IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. The new iteration of One and Only will be a 5-country blend with an average age of 10 years per leaf, and wrapped in Ecuadorian Habano.
"I really enjoyed the beginning and end of this cigar... I'm being that some significant rest would smooth this out nicely. As it is, this is worth another try... Particularly with a good stout or IPA." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
Recently, The project known as Improptu or Bellatto/Caldwell/Sears or BCS has finally decided on a name once and for all "Lost&Found". Robert Caldwell explains the changes in his press release
