Drew Estate introduces Undercrown line extensions including the Undercrown Shade Flying Pig Thursday, July 21, 2016 — Miami, FL – Drew Estate announced today the introduction of the following Undercrown Lineup: Undercrown Shade Flying Pig, Undercrown Shade Tubos, Undercrown Shade Churchill, Undercrown Shade 10 Count Metal Tins, Undercrown Maduro Churchill, Undercrown Maduro Tubos, and Undercrown Maduro 10 Count Metal Tins line extensions. Cigar News: Drew Estate Brings Back Two Herrera Estelí Lanceros

Drew Estate announced today that two of their limited edition Herrera Estelí Lanceros would be returning in 2021: Herrera Estelí Habano Lancero and the Herrera Estelí Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero. These will now be exclusive to the Drew Diplomat Program. The Herrera Estelí Lanceros will officially debut during Drew Estate’s Freestyle Live: Special Edition, which airs on Thursday, May 6th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern on Drew Estate’s Facebook Live page facebook.com/drewestatecigar.

Cigar News: Crowned Heads Announces Paniolo Especiale 2020 for Hawaii

For the second year in a row, Crowned Heads is partnering with Drew Estate for their annual "Paniolo Especiale" Limited Edition cigar. This is an exclusive to the state of Hawaii. Paniolo Especiale 2020 is rolled at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Esteli, Nicaragua and is a corona gorda measuring 5 3/4 x 46. The blend is similar to last years using a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican San Andres binder, and filers from Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic, but this year features tobacco from Brazil. The Paniolo Especiale 2020 comes in boxes of 10 and have the same price of $9.80. Production is smaller this year at 5,000 cigars compared to 4,000 in 2019.

"I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. The first 1/3 of the cigar was truly fantastic. Really great spice and pepper to begin mixed with hints of sweetness. If the flavors continued throughout the rest of the cigar, it would have ranked much higher for me. "There are some that would call this your grandfather's Connecticut cigar. I personally am not a fan of that flavor profile but I know the majority of the smoking community are.
