I had high expectations going into this cigar with it being the 115th anniversary and all the hype over the last year. I have to say it did not disappoint as I enjoyed the flavor profile from beginning to end. I had to touch up the burn once or twice but overall it performed outstandingly. While the cigar is on the pricey side I would happily light up another given the chance. Highly recommend this cigar.

While the Diademas size was amazing I always find them a struggle with construction, burn, etc. This cigar from a construction point of view was on point. The burn was great, and the cigar smoked perfectly. Would I spend $100 on this cigar if it was regular production? Of course not. Definitely a treat to smoke and I was happy to get the chance. I give this a score of 93.

“I enjoyed the flavors of this stick, however the lack of complexity and changes made for a monotone experience. Go ahead and give it a try… it is good, but I would like something more arousing. ” -John A. (John A.)

“Pretty solid effort. A really darkly attractive cigar with big rich flavors in the earthy/woody range with some interesting side notes of herbs and spices coming in at a few points. I’d love to stick a box of these in the back of my cabinet and forget about them for a year or two. I’ll bet they really sing with a little age. ” -John I. (John I.)

“For the most part this was a nice cigar. It had some personality. The wood and nutmeg flavors were nicely balanced for most of the time. There was a bit if hickory in the final third but not for long. The smoke provided a nice smell of camp fire and the flavors left in the mouth were very nice. While it did start of mellow, it slowly became bold towards the end. The final moments did produce the bitter flavors you would experience at the end of most cigars. Overall this would pair nicely with a single malt or even a mixed drink while sitting by a camp fire.” -Eric (smalls29)

“This was an interesting cigar with many flavor shifts. I wish the final third would have stayed cool enough to finish because I feel that this has a chance to be something special. I’ll definitely revisit this again once the reveal is complete.” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

“This cigar really did it for me. The first third was by far my favorite but the rest of the cigar didn’t disappoint. Little strong toward the end but luckily I had recently had a meal. ” -Zane G. (Zane)

“Long story short, it was OK. Short story not so short, the first two thirds were tasty, and seemed to be cohesive. The final third just failed in my estimation. The flavors were unpleasant and harsh. If this cigar could have continued the same flavor profile, I would have rated it much higher. ” -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

“I was a little concerned on the cold draw before lighting, but this cigar was really pretty good. Good flavor combinations, and lots of smoke output. It did burn a bit on the fast side, but the flavors that came throughout the smoking experience were tasty and made sense together. I would smoke this again.” -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

“Wow… whatever this is I want more for my collection. This is one of those mild smokes that you just have to have for a nice relaxing session where you can kick back and relax while you enjoy the experience. More complex than most mild cigars, it had a great flavor profile from each third to another and it never got bitter at the end like some lighter smokes get. Two thumbs up.” -John A. (John A.)

“This was a good looking cigar that was enjoyable for the first two thirds. The final third fell a bit short as the cigar got hot and bitter. Would be interested too see what some age does to these. ” -Zane G. (Zane)
