Joya de Nicaragua announced a new vitola in their Número Uno line: Le Premier, a 6 ⅞ x 48 Churchill. Número Uno began as a cigar only offered to World Leaders by Nicaraguan ambassadors, in 2018 a small amount of bundles were sold at Joya de Nicaragua events, and in 2019 the cigar saw a limited release to the world earning the #8 spot on our top 25 cigars of 2019 list. Número Uno is part of the Obras Maestras, or "Masterpieces" collection meaning Joya's top of the line offerings.
Joya de Nicaragua proudly announces the release of Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial,
a carefully modied recipe containing a unique and exceptional selection of barrel-aged
Grade A fillers and a beautiful silky shade-grown habano wrapper from the legendary
Jalapa valley. Distinct from the Limited Edition, it also incorporates a carefully
selected volado dominican binder.
As the oldest and first premium cigar factory in Nicaragua, Joya de Nicaragua already has a phenomenal legacy. In 2018, they will bolster that legacy with the introduction of Cinco Décadas. This is a very special cigar made with an exclusive blend of tobaccos, and the 50 years of dedication and knowledge of the wonderful people at Joya de Nicaragua.
Joya de Nicaragua released the Cinco Décadas line two years ago to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Last year it added the Fundador vitola and now this year it is adding El Doctor, a 6 x 52 torpedo.

·"Wow, this is world class stick. Never have I had such a well balanced, nuanced, medium bodied smoke. The three transitions provided a ménage à trois of deliciousness that would satisfy any hardened and seasoned cigar smoker. I am floored by the quality of this cigar. BOX WORTHY. " -John A. (Bostoneo)
Joya de Nicaragua is adding a new vitola to the Cinco Décadas line: Cinco Décadas Fundador. The name "Fundador" translates to "Founder" and is a tribute to Juan Francisco Bermejo and Simón Camacho, two men attibuted with the rise of cigars in Nicaragua. It will be shown off at IPCPR 2019.

·"This was a very good cigar with excellent burn and flavor transitions. I would definitely smoke this one again. At first, I thought this was going to be a quick smoke, however, it continued to burn well beyond what I expected. Pair with coffee, English Brown or Lightly pleated Scotch. " -James H. (Keikan Jim)

·"The combination of salted nuts, butter, white pepper, and peanuts really sets this cigar apart from other mild cigars. Mild in strength but full of flavor. I would highly recommend this to any cigar lover. A perfect morning cigar or really any time of day cigar. Would love to see how this pairs with a Chai tea or a lighter roasted coffee." -Kevin J.
