Cigar News: Joya de Nicaragua Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente and Selección de Torcedor Arrive in Stores

This year, Joya de Nicaragua has shipped two TAA exclusive cigars: Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente and Selección de Torcedor. The Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente returns from 2018 unchanged. The Selección de Torcedor is a new release but is only available with the purchase of the Gran Reserva as a 5-pack.

As with previous years, the order of their votes mattered as their #1 vote is worth twice as much as their #10. Our list is made up of cigars that had a wide release this year. "The most impressive portion of this cigar in terms of flavor came at the end, but combined with the top notch construction leads me to rate this a bit higher than I might. "Great good stuff here. I wanted a bit more power early on, and it finally delivered in the finale. Super chocolaty in the early going, developing to a nice rich espresso finish at the end. If there was any problem here it's that it was maybe just a little too polite to start. I'd still be happy to smoke a ton more. " -John I. (John I.)

Quick Cigar Review: Joya De Nicaragua | No. 1

Overall, this was an enjoyable cigar. Usually I don’t smoke milder sticks since they have a tendency to go sour halfway through, however this stick held its ground and provided ample amounts of body with enjoyable flavors! Definitely try out the Joya No. 1 before you count it out because of a Connecticut wrapper.
