Cigar News: Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve to Return at IPCPR 2018

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars is bringing back it's Olde World Reserve line in both maduro and corojo blends. They will make their return at this years IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas and ship in the late summer. The blends remain the same as the original releases, but there has been a chance to where they are produced.

Cigar News: Rocky Patel Launches New Tavicusa Cigar

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars (RPPC) began shipping the new Tavicusa brand that was introduced at the recent IPCPR trade show. Tavicusa is the name of Rocky’s Estelí, Nicaragua-based cigar factory, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Rocky Patel Freedom Maduro Coming to Santa Clara – Cigar News

Santa Clara (the wholesale arm of JR Cigar) has announced a maduro version of one of its most popular exclusive cigars, Rocky Patel Freedom. Rocky Patel Freedom Maduro will be the third in the Freedom line following the original which is a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with an Ecuadorian wrapper, first created to represent Rocky’s continued effort to fight for the cigar industry’s freedom, and the Connecticut version.

Blind Cigar Review: Rocky Patel | A.L.R. (Aged Limited & Rare) Robusto

"This wasn’t the most progressive smoke in the world for me but it was very pleasant. I enjoyed the flavor notes and especially the last third where the smok tobacco came more into play. This cigar was very relaxing to me as it was smooth, minimal if at all pepper notes, cocoa, some floral and other earthy flavors were consistent and tasty." -Diana (ArmyRN)

"This was one of the 2 or 3 best cigars I have reviewed for BMP this year. The flavors hit me just right, the smoke was wonderfully smooth and creamy, and it was about as low maintenance a stick as you could ever ask for. Cigar News: Rocky Patel Adds Hamlet 25th Year Salomon

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars (RPPC) has announced a new vitola to its Hamlet 25th Year line, a Salomon size. The new vitola was shown off at this summer’s IPCPR trade show and will be shipping late October. Like the rest of the line, it was created by Cuban cigar blender and master roller, Hamlet Paredes.

Blind Cigar Review: Rocky Patel | Vintage 2006 San Andreas Toro

"Overall this was a pretty good smoke. The flavors were spicy and smokey and left a tingle on the palate. The restricted airflow hindered my opinion a touch but still not a bad cigar. Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Becomes Phillips & King Exclusive – Cigar News

Phillips & King will be exclusively distributing the Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Corojo and Maduro from now on. The original release took place 10 years ago and is now being exclusively distributed by Phillips & King as of late September 2022. It was discontinued in 2012 because the Costa Rican maduro wrapper, which was used primarily on The Edge Maduro, had become too rare. The line made a comeback at the 2018 IPCPR trade show and remained quiet until now.
