The first thing we were shown at the Altadis booth was the new addition to the Montecristo Espada, the Espada Estoque.
"I really enjoyed the peek-a-boo with the spiciness at the beginning of each third. The first and final thirds offered the best flavors while the middle section was a let down for me. Sadly, the wrapper coming apart near the end really hurt the overall experience." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
The long-popular “CAO Gold” blend of cigars has now joined the other benchmark premium cigars in Arango Cigar Co.’s Clasico series of private label brands. All Clasico brands are exclusive to Arango. They are sold only at brick and mortar shops, not through mail order or Internet sales.
"Overall, had it not been for the wrapper issues, it was a very good cigar. The flavors were pleasant and provided enough complexity to keep my interest. It would have scored higher had it not been for the wrapper. I will definitely try it again. I think the wrapper issue might have been because of increased humidity." -Sandeep (Djangos)
"I really enjoyed the first third and was hoping the coffee would develop a little more, or at least remain in the mix. While it left during the end of the second third, the transition gave me a chance to smoke a cigar with another profile. Both were very good." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
