I was prepared to write this cigar off a average based on the first third, but thing really came around in the second and final thirds. The addition of baking spices, pepper, and nuts really set things off. I don’t know if the $50 price tag is justified but this is a really good cigar. It is for sure up there with some of the previous limited edition My Father cigars. I wish I knew what a few months or a year of age would do to this cigar would do but unfortunately I doubt I will ever find out. I was lucky enough to find one of these and this was my only one. If you are able to find one to purchase, do it. I really enjoyed the full transition of flavors and body from the first to the final third and would recommend this to anyone.

"What a journey this cigar took me on...a wonderful turn of flavors and strength ending with a spicy desert sweetness that had me dreading the final puff... I’m ready for another one right now. Highly recommended for a fiver or box purchase. " -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

·"As ugly as this cigar was, it goes to show that you can't judge a book by the cover. The flavors were so good. There was complexity, and yet consistent notes that pulled everything together. I would gladly reach for this cigar again. " -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

"This was a very mild blend. I ended up retro-haling with almost every puff to get the flavors I did manage to discover. It began sweet and floral then slowly transitioned into a more smoky mesquite flavor. The draw was a bit tight and the smoke production was very lacking. There was nothing unpalatable about the blend but nothing that stood out either." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
This was a fast burner. For its size, I would have expected a longer smoke. It was a really good cigar, but for something so special, I wanted a little more. Hopefully with age, things get even better and make it more special. I enjoyed this cigar and am glad I got more to age.

·"Although the wrapper was a little darker than most Connecticuts, I believe this was one. It was medium bodied the whole way through, and had lots of flavors. I really enjoyed this cigar form start to finish. It could be smoked at any time of the day. The quality of the construction and the tobaccos is very high, and I appreciate that. I would definitely buy a box of these." -Emmett (rhetorik)

"Overall, this was a VERY consistent flavored stick throughout the entire experience. Omnipresent notes of leather exist the whole time, which minor deviations throughout, most notably the nutty presence at the end, which was yum. Burn and construction were spots on the entire time without any flaws at all while the draw slightly learned on the loose side. Not a bad stick, one of the better ones I’ve had lately, however, it didn’t overly impress me and was a slightly better for an average cigar on the market today." -John A. (Bostoneo)
"I enjoyed the experience, I usually look for more complexity and some transitions, but it was a good experience worth a fiver." -Ryan H. (Ryan H.)

·"Overall, the cigar was smoking pretty well in the beginning. There were interesting flavors and a good burn. But the final third really made it hard to give an overall rating, because this may have just been a one off error, and more than likely was." -Jerad (Cigar Federation)
