"I have to say, that personally, this cigar hit every high note. All flavor notes were balanced and complimented each well. The size might intimidate some but if they give it a shot they will be pleasantly surprised like I was. I really hope that people give this cigar a chance. I will for sure be seeking this out once I know what it is. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
"Very nice. This has been a very good experience. No bitterness at the end. no sour after taste. A nice balance of flavors. There was a primary leathery flavor with a sweet cinnamon after taste. There was a light tingle on the lips at the end. It was a change to be able to enjoy such a balanced cigar all the way through to the end. The after taste was my highlight. A smooth taste that does not linger like bad breathe. This would be anice addition to the humidor and would pair well with a spiced rum." -Eric (smalls29)

"Just like you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, you shouldn't judge this cigar by it's wrapper. Looking at this cigar and one might say words like ugly, rough looking, and poorly made but that is far from true. The burn, the favors, and performance of this cigar punch above it's weight class. The extra tobacco in the center of this cigar caused it to lose the intensity and body that I loved in the first third. While the weird mishmash of flavors, in the final third, had me conflicted but in the end the cigar made me go and grab my nub tool and smoke it till I was burning my lips. This is a cigar that I would reach for again and again. If it had an option for a smaller ring gauge size and it would be a box buy. Well done!" -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
At this years' IPCPR Battleground Cigars had an interesting set up, their display was basically a small pup tent, but inside they had plenty to offer....let's get right to it:
Battleground has decided to play around with Honduran Puro Mardo wrappers , and have resurrected a few brands with new wrappers and new packaging artwork.
"I really enjoyed this cigar and would buy a box of them. The flavors remained mild and never got too strong. This would be an enjoyable smoke with a good latte or even a hot tea on a mild evening. I would definitely recommend this cigar to my friends." -Eric (smalls29)
