·"Definitely an easy going smoke. Medium to full bodied flavors of oak, leather, light black pepper and a bit of sweetness made for a nice enjoyable smoke. It seemed like eternity to finish this long sized cigar, so I did get a bit bored and would probably enjoy it in a smaller format. Not bad at all, give them a try!" -John A. (Bostoneo)
You will soon have the chance to enjoy the first handmade cigar blend released from the Balmoral Serie Signaturas (Signature Series) platform. Boris Wintermans collaborated with the E. P. Carrillo for this first release. The cigar is called DUETO, and it will premiere in the Royal Agio at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas.
Alec Bradley Cigar Co have announced they will be initiating a full-scale re-release Medalist cigar line. The Medalist is cloaked in a golden ‘shade grown’ wrapper grown in Honduras, a Honduran binder and premium long-fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua.
“I really really really enjoyed this cigar. I have no guesses what it is because it hasn’t reminded me of anything I have had before, but if the price is right I will definitely be picking some up. The flavors were changing and complex, especially for a churchill. the flavor profile was right up my alley and if the other reviewers had a similar experience, I expect a high score.” –Emmett (BMP_Emmett)
"I really enjoyed this cigar and was quite taken with the baking flavors that I experienced. This was a really relaxing cigar for me. Perhaps because the notes of butter, fresh dough, cinnamon, cedar, pecans and toasty tobacco, gave me the sensation of hanging out in an old fashioned kitchen with cookies baking in the oven. ·"Phew, after smoking this I need a nap... it was strong! Quite a bit of flavors going on at the start but this mellows out into a standard flavor profile as the pure strength of this smoke overwhelmed what other complexities there could have been. If you want a full full full flavored and nic buzz, hey try this out would ya? I enjoyed it, but not something I could smoke quite often!" -John A. (Bostoneo)

·"I tend toward fuller bodied cigars generally, and much smaller vitolas as a rule, but I enjoyed the hell out of this beast for the full ride. I lit this late on a Saturday morning, and it paired wonderfully with a couple extra cups of dark roasted coffee well into the early afternoon. I'd strongly suggest that you do likewise. " -John I. "A very enjoyable smoke with more flavor than was expected and excellent performance. I'm not normally a fan of long smokes, but I would recommend this one for sure and would love to give it a try in a smaller vitola sometime down the road." -Dave W. (mdwest)

·"The second third flavors were well balanced and provided an amazing smoking experience. While the final third initially offered some great flavors, it soon developed a harshness that was difficult to get past. We got off on the wrong foot, however, when the wide open draw prevented the cigar from burning without constant attention in the first third. This most likely led to the acrid notes on the finish." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
