Casa Cuevas is bringing a new line to IPCPR 2019: Cuevas Reserva. The new line has two wrapper options, Natural and Maduro. Family patriarch Luis Cuevas Sr. originally introduced the Cuevas Reserva back in the early 2000’s but was limited until now.
This year Plasencia Cigars will bring a new line to IPCPR: Alma del Fuego. They did not release any new lines at least years show after releasing two the year before that: Alma del Campo and Plasencia Cosecha 146. This is the third in their Alma Series, of which they say there will eventually be a total of 5 lines.

IPCPR has launched a new grassroots website, cigaraction.org. This site is a resource for retailers and consumers to get involved with public policy issues that affect premium cigars. This launch coincides with their first grassroots campaign urging Congress to support a premium cigar exemption provision in the annual spending bill. Over time, this site will serve as the center of IPCPR’s grassroots effort with the cigar community for multiple federal and state initiatives.

·"Even though this cigar was a mild/medium taste, the woody flavors had a nice balance throughout. There were flavors of oak and cherry wood with a nice campfire aroma coming from the smoke. The after-taste was not over powering and left a nice taste behind. Even though a bitter flavor showed, it did not come until almost at the end. It has now announced its first partners on the manufacturing side: AJ Fernandez Cigar Company, C.L.E. Cigar Company, Casa Cuevas Cigar, Caldwell Cigar, HF Barcelona, Los Caidos Cigars, PDR Cigars, Gurkha Cigars, Oliva Cigars, and Room 101. The company will officially launch during IPCPR 2019.

The Crux Cigars Limitada IPCPR Show Exclusive will soon be available in select retailers. Crux announced today the cigars are in the Miami distribution warehouse and will begin shipping immediately. The Limitada IPCPR cigar is a limited release, with only 1,000 10-count boxes each year. The cigar is a 5 x 52 box press with the exclusive Engañoso wrapper and finished with a Marblehead cap. This is the third year for this limited release. MSRP is $10.99/cigar.
