"This was a wonderful experience. The flavors were nice and constant and never strayed in to bitterness and yuck. The cedar flavor was there from begging to end. The best part was the slightly sweet taste left on the palate. The aroma was that of a cedar log burning in the fireplace that made this one even more enjoyable. Definitely one for the humidor. Blind Cigar Review: Hermosa | Torpedo

"With its mild strength and bold flavors, I would not be surprised if this is a La Aurora cigar. This is one of those cigars that can be enjoyed by anyone as it's not too strong for the beginner, but complex enough to satisfy the aficionado. The technical performance was outstanding with no burn or draw issues, in fact the ash held on almost two inches. I would describe the flavor profile as classic. Cigar News: KILO makes return at IPCPR

What began in 2013 as a test blend marketed at cigar shops in New Mexico, Texas and Maryland, KILO was a labor of love for Barry Stein and was originally made at La Aurora in the Dominican Republic. Originally the Director of Social Media for Miami Cigar & Company, he parted ways with them in the spring of 2014 when he relocated to New Hampshire to work for David Garofalo. As a parting gift for his service to the company, they allowed him to keep the trademark KILO.
