Cigar News: Crowned Heads Announes Limited Edition Mil Días – Mareva EL XX (2020)

Crowned Heads has announced a limited edition version of its new Mil Días brand - Mil Días Mareva EL XX (2020). This new cigar uses the same blend as the original but comes in a new size, the traditional Cuban Mareva vitola (5 1/8" x 42), a corona Only 1000 cabinets of 30 will be made. The Mil Días Mareva EL XX will cost $8.95 per cigar, and is rolled at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua, under the supervision of Don Eradio Pichardo. Mil Días Mareva EL XX will ship November.

Luciano Meirelles and ACE Prime have announced a partnership with Mas Igneus, one of the finest wine producers in Spain's, to bring to market Luciano The Dreamer Wine, made to pair with the eponymous cigar. Along with this announcement is the news of the cigar being made in three more sizes.

"This cigar is meant to be smoked. Allowing it to sit for long causes the flavors to dissipate. Keep it hot and it will deliver. And that is where the problem comes. You have to keep on this cigar to keep the flavors rolling. I think if I had kept on this cigar, puffing at much faster than my normal rate, not only would I have found more enjoyable flavors, it would have also significantly shortened its already fast smoking time. While I quite enjoyed the first third, the rest of this cigar just couldn't satisfy. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Cigar News: ACE Prime Gains Brazilian Distribution

ACE Prime Cigars has announced that the company's cigar will now be distributed in Brazil thanks to an exclusive distribution partnership with Rafaelle D’Angelo, one of the largest cigar importers in Brazil, run by Eduardo Llerena Hernandez, cigar distributor and longtime friend of Eradio Pichardo. Rafaelle D’Angelo became one of the largest Cigar importers in the 1990’s when he moved from Italy to Sao Paulo Brazil and had the rights to import Cuban Cigars for over a decade in Brazil. Since 2001 Rafaelle has shifted to mainly import Nicaraguan cigars.

ACE Prime made their debut at IPCPR last year with a big splash, lots of lines and sponsorships.
