Every year we put together a list of our Top 25 Cigars of the Year. Our list is a bit different from some other lists, it is not simply a rehashing of our top scores from the year, or one person's opinion. We gave each of our panelists 10 votes to cast how they please for what they enjoyed the most in 2019. The order of their votes matter, so their #1 pick is worth twice as much as #10. The cigars do not have to have been reviewed by Blind Man's Puff, but the panelist must have smoked it.

Cigar News: Crowned Heads Announes Limited Edition Mil Días – Mareva EL XX (2020)

Crowned Heads has announced a limited edition version of its new Mil Días brand - Mil Días Mareva EL XX (2020). This new cigar uses the same blend as the original but comes in a new size, the traditional Cuban Mareva vitola (5 1/8" x 42), a corona Only 1000 cabinets of 30 will be made. The Mil Días Mareva EL XX will cost $8.95 per cigar, and is rolled at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua, under the supervision of Don Eradio Pichardo. Mil Días Mareva EL XX will ship November.

With enjoyable flavors of cedar, cinnamon, and leather along with a pepper background. there was a small nicotine buzz that kicked in towards the end but nothing I couldn’t handle. "This cigar is meant to be smoked. Allowing it to sit for long causes the flavors to dissipate. Keep it hot and it will deliver. And that is where the problem comes. You have to keep on this cigar to keep the flavors rolling. I think if I had kept on this cigar, puffing at much faster than my normal rate, not only would I have found more enjoyable flavors, it would have also significantly shortened its already fast smoking time.
