Co-Owners Luciano Meirelles and Tiago Splitter have announced that Ace Prime Cigars will be rebranded as Luciano Cigars and start their own independent US distribution. Meirelles says that company will now be fully vertically-integrated company from "seed to smoke." This news comes several days after the announced split between ACE Prime and Crowned Heads.

"This cigar is meant to be smoked. Allowing it to sit for long causes the flavors to dissipate. Keep it hot and it will deliver. And that is where the problem comes. You have to keep on this cigar to keep the flavors rolling. I think if I had kept on this cigar, puffing at much faster than my normal rate, not only would I have found more enjoyable flavors, it would have also significantly shortened its already fast smoking time. ACE Prime has announced a new cigar in the Luciano line to be shown off at the PCA 2021 Trade Show. This is the first regular production cigar in the Luciano line and follows the limited production Dreamer and Traveler. This new iteration comes in 4 sizes. "Fiat Lux" is a Latin expression used during the intellectual movement of the Enlightenment and represents the search for knowledge and meaning. The company says "Fiat Lux itself is a blend that generates deliberation. The construction of the cigar provokes an inevitable exploration of flavors as it ignites the taste buds for the sake of discovery. Enlightenment is a natural, mindful consequence of its physical attributes."
Crowned Heads announced today that they will be distributing cigars for the relatively new company- ACE Prime. ACE Prime made their debut at IPCPR last year with a big splash, lots of lines and sponsorships. Prior to launching their own brand, the company had made cigars for other companies at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua for 12 years.
