"Despite having to battle a wonky burn throughout, this stick was nothing short of incredible in my book! The complexity was never over the top and the transitions just made sense. Salty and sweet flavor profiles danced a beautiful tango back and forth across my palate for the entirety of the smoke which made for a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable experience. The strength and complexity of this stick remained a solid medium from start to finish which would make it a sound choice for anyone wanting to graduate to a bolder flavor profile without being punched in the face by strength and body. 10 out of 10 will be seeking this one out to round out my normal smoking rotation." -Noah S. "This is a very enjoyable cigar, especially the first third. If time will turn the second and final thirds to be more like the first, this would be a world-class cigar. "Overall I was a huge fan of this blend. The strong pepper in the retro along with great leather, chocolate, mocha, and baking spices lead this blend right onto my preferred palate. "A decent looking stick, with great pre-light aromas, and lackluster construction and burn. The flavor profile was okay, middle of the road for me, I feel the lightly packed/rolled tobacco caused this stick to burn too quickly, causing off flavors from the high burn temp. I’d smoke it again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice as the flavor profile was pretty straight forward and didn’t have a level of complexity that I am typically accustomed with true premium cigars. "This is a fairly short-lived cigar, easy smoking in under an hour, and probably just over a half hour smoke for most people. Each third had a distinct change of flavors that could easily be detected without looking. I found myself enjoying this one, a lot. But, it could use some glue. The tendency for the wrapper to unravel kept me distracted and, ultimately forced me to score the cigar lower than I would have liked based on flavor alone.
