Media Release - In its mission to take aficionados to new horizons and exciting experiences, Davidoff Cigars launches a new whisky cask aged cigar line - the Winston Churchill Late Hour
"I really enjoyed this cigar. It was definitely right in the middle of my preference. From the woody/nutty flavor, to the thick creamy smoke. I will definitely be smoking this cigar again." -Craig (WyldKnyght)
"Even though the draw was tighter than ideal for the first third and the lineup of flavors doesn't match what I typically reach for when choosing what to smoke, this cigar was immensely enjoyable! I am quite fond of this particular vitola as the change in ring gauge and proportions of binder, filler, and wrapper all but guarantees an interesting progression or transition of flavors that I tend to think of as a story the blender is telling through the leaves. Not only did the profile of flavors build upon one another from start to finish but so did the strength which is always a plus in my book. After a bit of a slow start, this cigar truly shined in the latter two-thirds when the flavors were most balanced, complex, and robust. The smoke was incredibly smooth throughout and the flavors were clearly defined which always makes for a nice experience as I don't have to think too much about what I am smoking. This is exactly the kind of smoke I like when I am deep in a great conversation amongst great friends." -Noah S. (Noah)

·"In terms of transitions or flavor profile changes this cigar really didn't have any. That's not to say it wasn't an enjoyable smoke though. The core flavors of pepper, cedar, sweetness, leather, and espresso worked really well together. I couldn't say that this cigar wowed me but it was a really nice cigar with just enough going on to keep my interest. Depending on price I would say you should definitely give this cigar a try. ·"This was a decent stick with plenty of flavor transitions from third to third. The thick luxurious flavors proved ample enjoyment and relaxation. The only downside I had was with the burn as a result of an uneven construction during the first half of the cigar. Something I’d like to try again before I decide if it’s a must try...." -John A. (Bostoneo)
The Escurio is Davidoff’s latest release and appears to be a follow up to the successful Nicaragua line. This release has its ties to Brazil. It has an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Brazilian Cubra binder and a filler combination of cubra and mata fina from Brazil, along with Dominican San Vicente.

·"This was one of those smokes that comes along every so often- actually it’s pretty rare for me anyway, that just captivates your senses. The ol’ “Calgon take me away” commercial ran through my mind as a comparison… It was a phenomenal smoke, one that I hope, hope, hope I get to experience again and again. I pray that this stogie is one that fits my meager stogie budget because I gotta have some more of these. It was a little over an hour of peace & serenity and I loved every minute of it!" -Robert (NavyPiper)
