Crowned Heads announced today that Juarez Shots be released again in 2021, now called Juarez Shots LE 2021. The company is calling the limited edition cigar a "Winter Seasonal" release and was brought back because of it's popularity.
Mombacho Cigars announced today that one of their founders, Cam Heaps, will take over the company's role of President. Heaps takes over for Claudio Sgroi, who is remaining on as Master Blender and Partner.

"Solid mild to medium cigar. The spice and pepper on the front and end of the cigar were nice. With the middle, a tad more mild and less pepper and more earth and coffee it did not overwhelm you like som peppery cigar will to some people. This should be a cigar to try on many people's list. "Overall, this was a VERY consistent flavored stick throughout the entire experience. Omnipresent notes of leather exist the whole time, which minor deviations throughout, most notably the nutty presence at the end, which was yum. Burn and construction were spots on the entire time without any flaws at all while the draw slightly learned on the loose side. "Overall, a cigar with mixed feelings. While the first third was the best, the second third a bit boring, and the last third making a small gain on enjoyment, overall it was decent, enjoyable, but could have been better. Also notable was how long this cigar lasted, 90 minutes for me, and I am a quick smoker typically. The newly formed company, The Forged Cigar Company, owned by STG (parent company of General Cigar), recently announced that they will be selling the El Rey Del Mundo brand starting February. The Forged Cigar Company cigars will be sold only at brick and mortar shops.

"I absolutely adored this blend and I am anxiously awaiting to find out what it was so I can stock up. This is a very heavy spicy cigar that is full of both strength and flavor. The pepper was the superstar of the cigar so if you enjoy spice this is absolutely a stick you have to try. In the background, there were other supporting notes of earth, leather, mineral, and nutty flavors to help round the blend out. AVO Cigars has announced that the Belicoso size in their AVO Classic line would be making a return soon. The Belicoso was last seen in 2005 and will only be a limited production run this time with 2,000 boxes of 25 cigars being sold only in the United States.

"Give me another one of these! This was a solid stick with flavors that I rather enjoy. The middle third was probably the weak spot on this cigar where flavors kind of drowned in themselves and the marshmallow puff. I'm not going to say that portion of the cigar was bad, but it was not the highlight. Fortunately, there's plenty of other things going on in this cigar to make the downsides forgettable. " -Isaac M.
