"This is a cigar I would smoke any day. If you are looking for a nicely flavored cigar without any pepper this would be a great smoke. The earthiness along with the smooth and creamy profile was very pleasant. There was a great blend of coffee, cocoa, hint of leather, baking spices and leafy floral. Quick Cigar Review: La Gloria Cubana | Coleccion Reserva Robusto

I have had this cigar resting for a bit and finally took time to light it up. The cigar had some great flavors going on but I did have to touch up the cigar quite a bit as it kept trying to go out on me. Overall I enjoyed the time I had with this cigar and would for sure pick up some more in a different size.

Cigar News: IPCPR Announces Cigaraction.org

IPCPR has launched a new grassroots website, cigaraction.org. This site is a resource for retailers and consumers to get involved with public policy issues that affect premium cigars. This launch coincides with their first grassroots campaign urging Congress to support a premium cigar exemption provision in the annual spending bill. Over time, this site will serve as the center of IPCPR’s grassroots effort with the cigar community for multiple federal and state initiatives.

"Even though this cigar was a mild/medium taste, the woody flavors had a nice balance throughout. There were flavors of oak and cherry wood with a nice campfire aroma coming from the smoke. The after-taste was not over powering and left a nice taste behind. Even though a bitter flavor showed, it did not come until almost at the end. Cigar News: Rocky Patel Adds Hamlet 25th Year Salomon

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars (RPPC) has announced a new vitola to its Hamlet 25th Year line, a Salomon size. The new vitola was shown off at this summer’s IPCPR trade show and will be shipping late October. Like the rest of the line, it was created by Cuban cigar blender and master roller, Hamlet Paredes.

Cigar News: Crux Limitada IPCPR Ships to Retailers

The Crux Cigars Limitada IPCPR Show Exclusive will soon be available in select retailers. Crux announced today the cigars are in the Miami distribution warehouse and will begin shipping immediately. The Limitada IPCPR cigar is a limited release, with only 1,000 10-count boxes each year. The cigar is a 5 x 52 box press with the exclusive Engañoso wrapper and finished with a Marblehead cap. This is the third year for this limited release. MSRP is $10.99/cigar.
