Blind Cigar Review: AJ Fernandez | New World Almirante

"Overall, the cigar was a pleasant experience with a decent level of complexity. The predominant flavors are that of leather, tobacco and cedar. There is also a decent amount of pepper that persists throughout the cigar. I would definitely smoke this one again, but no super premium." -Sandeep (Djangos)

"I was really impressed to try this cigar, especially seeing how well it looked and was made. Flavors were pretty consistent the whole time, except for the middle third, which had the mustiness and had the problem keeping it going. I enjoyed the flavors, the smoke was good, again except for the middle, and the draw problem. Those things are what dropped it from 'great' to 'very good'." -Robert (NavyPiper)

"If it hadn't been for the burn issues in the initial third, I would have scored it much higher. The flavor profile was very pleasant with sweeter and floral flavors. I will give it another try to see if the draw issue was a one time thing." -Sandeep (Djangos)

Blind Cigar Review: Asylum | Insidious Robusto

"A solid cigar full of richer flavors with just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. I feared the profile might become harsh after the leather faded and was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it remained. While just shy of what I would consider a powerhouse, there was enough strength in the first and final third to caution a newer cigar smoker." -Gregg (McGreggor57)

"This is a solid Above Average stick that would be great as an after-dinner smoke, being quite strong. The lack of complexity involves some other pastime, so if you are planning to read or listen to your favorite band in your smoking room this would be a good choice." -Denis (Inspector)
