To celebrate the milestone of 10 years for El Primer Mundo Cigars, Sean Williams introduced the EPM 10 Year Anniversary cigar. It was released in June of 2016 and will be available at a very select group of retailers by invitation only. The cigar features a Rosado wrapper from Nicaragua, San Vicente binder, and Ligero Criollo, Ligero Negrito, and Corojo 2006 filler. It it made at the De Los Reyes SA factory in Dominican Republic. The EPM 10 Year is available in three vitolas. A 6x54 (MSRP $9.75) Toro, 5x50 Robusto (MSRP $8.75), and 5.5x42 Corona (MSRP $8.50). The cigar sampled for this review was the Toro vitola.

·"This cigar was never in my wheelhouse, but I am happy I got the opportunity to smoke it. This cigar expands the palate from prelight to the nub of what a premium cigar can offer in terms of flavor. Maybe my palate is broken.. I have no idea, but the exhale/retro was interesting delivering the wet wood, peat, earth, citrus, salt and flighty cream. "One draw issue aside, this was an excellent smoke, one I really, really hope in on the bargain side of things so I can stock up, but I'm guessing it's likely a premium. Overall it was well constructed, burned great, had excellent thick smoke output, and really well balanced flavor. One I will definitely seek out again, regardless of price! "The first half flavors were similar but lacked much interest before some cedar broke through. The final third, however, offered up a nice richness of slightly burnt coffee with wood char and an oiliness to the leather on the finish. "The first two thirds showed some promise, although a bit one dimensional. The creamy leather and oak combination was very enjoyable. The final third, however, was my samples unraveling.
