Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is always pushing the envelope while he is creating blends for his loyal fans. As a Hall of Fame Master Blender, it is his goal to have each of his treasured cigars leave a lasting impression on each person that smokes Ernesto’s creations. One of Ernesto’s claim to fame is being the man behind the BIG RING gauge cigar and the phenomenon that has come along with it. Here at E.P. Carrillo Cigar Co., Ernesto has reinvented the BIG RING cigar in the INCH Series. Highly rated and known world over, the INCH Series is the consummate cigar for those that love the BIG cigar. Ernesto has been looking for the next BIG INCH and he has found it.
Two of the cigar industry's biggest names are joining together. Starting November 1, José Blanco will be the senior vice president of EPC Cigar Co., the premium cigar company owned by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Blanco has turned over the operations of his Las Cumbres Tabaco and its brands (Señorial and Freyja) to his wife, Emma Viktorsson, co-founder and co-owner of the company.
"Overall a very enjoyable stick. The flavor profile was very nice, and the smoke was as smooth as silk. I'll be on the look out for these after the reveal." -Dave W. (mdwest)

·“Part of the joy of a blind review is finding out later what it is I was smoking. Well, I am very excited to find out on this one because I may be buying a box. The flavor and aroma combination was fantastic and interesting. The burn was incredible. The smoke output was HUGE. If it is a cigar in my price range, I will be stocking up.” –Matthew T. "I really enjoyed this cigar. Started off mild with some nice light notes and ramped up a bit as it progressed. This is a cigar I would not pass up when I want something that isn't too over powering" -Zane G. (Zane)
"I immensely enjoyed this cigar. The quality of flavors, smoke, and construction make this one of the highlights of the year for me. I usually would have to smoke another to make sure it wasn't a fluke, but on this single experience I would highly recommend this cigar to anyone. " -Alan (Eulogy)
"Very good cigar. Started out with an incense/aromatic element that I couldn't quite put my finger on other than incense, but it didn't stay through the whole cigar. It kinda faltered out about the middle of the 2nd and walnuts and sweet tobacco took over. By the end it was just wood and that same sweet tobacco. Strength never got up to a medium. Very nice smoking experience. " -Mickey T. (irratebass)
The original Headley Grange was inspired by the drum beat on the lead-in to the Led Zeppelin classic "When the Levee Breaks." The name came from where the track was recorded, a former poorhouse (built in 1795) in East Hampshire, England, named Headley Grange. Last year, Crowned Heads released a limited edition version called "Black Lab LE 2018," named after the black Labrador Retriever that was hanging around the Headley Grange studio during the recording of Led Zeppelin IV. That blend uses the same fillers as the original Headley Grange, but replaces the wrapper with Connecticut (Habano) maduro. For 2019, Crowned Heads is releasing "Headley Grange Chamuco LE 2019."
