"This could easily become my go to morning smoke with a cup of coffee. The mild beginning transitioned to some bolder flavors nicely. Each third developed a distinct profile and stayed true. The leather really balanced the char and pepper, with the dark roast coffee at the end being a pleasant surprise." -Gregg (McGreggor57)

"I really enjoyed the richness of the coffee and oak during the first third and wished they would have held on a little more. The final two thirds gradually ramped the fullness down and transformed the smoke into a milder sweeter profile. I'm glad I grabbed this one for a morning cigar." -Gregg (McGreggor57)

"Although I've got nothing bad to say about this cigar, it just didn't do much for me. Even in mild sticks, I like more complexity and richness in the smoke texture. This didn't have much of it. Probably not a bad smoke for someone new to cigars or someone that likes mild, light bodied cigars. Not really for me though. I'll pass on smoking another." -Brian (B-daddy)

"This cigar was a performer...looks, burn, draw and flavor...all top notch in my book. I could easily see myself paying in excess of $10 for these...a little speedy for everyday, but just right for a top notch smoke. Highly recommended for Lancero fans who like some flavor and enough strength to let you know it's there...where can I get a box...or at least a fiver!?" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"What a pleasurable milder smoke with lots of subtle changes within it's original profile. The balance of spice and sweetness was close to perfect, never becoming harsh or bitter. Often the initial pepper blast takes over, but this cigar seemed to keep all flavors balanced and working well together. I would grab a box in a heartbeat." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
In a bittersweet announcement today via their Facebook page, House of Emilio announced that Gary Griffith, Founder and the face of the brand, would be retiring from the company.

"I enjoyed this cigar. The cold aroma of maple leaves was unique, and the mix of caramel and cream and leather and maple and pepper and baking spices and sweetness was quite enjoyable, and changed frequently enough to keep me interested. Recommended." -Derek (StogieNinja)

"If it weren't for the draw, this would have been an enjoyable cigar. As it was, I didn't smoke it nearly as far down as I would prefer for a premium cigar, particularly for a review...it was just too much work, unfortunately. Maybe the next one will be better!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"As long a smoke as this cigar was, I nubbed it and wished that it wouldn't stop. You just can't beat a cigar with a great flavor profile and a great burn. If I had another one in the humidor, I would have went and gotten it to smoke it immediately. Someone send me another one or box! Seriously, I will be looking to pick some up on the reveal." -Jason (bigslowrock)
