"I really felt like I was smoking a robusto or a more substantial cigar than the lancero. It was flavor packed and full bodied for me. The strength of the cigar can creep up on you going into the last third. This is a meaty cigar with a nice dash of pepper and mix of red meat and leather combining nicely with the dark roast coffee notes. Overall, I REALLY enjoyed this experience. It gave me an opportunity to do something that, until now, was only a dream. And the great thing is, anyone can do it. There are a few things I would add or improve, and hopefully those things will be changed in the future if this becomes more popular. Those few shortcomings are far outweighed by the awesome experience and attention to detail in presentation. I want to thank Natasha and George again for giving me the opportunity to review this product, I really enjoyed the experience and definitely recommend this to all the intermediate and advanced smokers out there.
Miami, Florida, April 15, 2015 – Gran Habano Cigars announces the official release of its long-awaited latest edition of a very popular cigar to join the S.T.K. lines manufactured in Miami at G.R. Tabacaleras Co.
Gran Habano Cigars and Laws Whiskey House have teamed up with retailer W. Curtis Draper in Washington, DC to release a special limited-edition cigar. La Pareja Perfecta is a collaboration between Laws Whiskey House and Gran Habano to support Little Puff, W. Curtis Draper’s annual charity event. The 6 x 52 toro cigar has been blended to match the flavors of the whiskey barrel pick by Laws Whiskey House, which will yield only 200 bottles. The blend for the cigar was created by George A. Rico, a master blender with over 27 years of experience in the industry. The bourbon is a 4-grain (60% corn, 20% wheat, 10% rye, 10% malted barley), distilled in the summer of 2015, aged in a medium char new oak barrel before being finished in a port cask. It was proofed back down to its original entry proof of 110 and bottled for this specific project. A once-in-a-lifetime project, “La Pareja Perfecta…The Perfect Pair.”
Gran Habano is releasing a cigar at PCA next week to celebrate their 20th annivsary. The Gran Habano 20th Aniversario comes in three vitolas that embody the Gran Habano story: El Sueño (the dream) 5 x 52 (MSRP $14), El Desafío (the struggle) 6 x 54 (MSRP $15), and El Triunfo (the success) 6 x 60 (MSRP $16.00).

·"The draw, burn and construction were outstanding for this beautiful looking cigar. The flavors, while not in my wheelhouse, were solid and well balanced for the first two thirds. The returning cedar and spice near the end came close to becoming harsh. This cigar might benefit from additional rest. Give me another one, however, and I will gladly smoke it." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
