Davidoff announced today a new cigar, the Limited Edition "Special 53 - Capa Dominicana." This is actually the return of a cigar originally released in 2002. The cigar itself is a unique 53 ring-gauge perfecto that contains tobacco all grown in the Dominican Republic. In 2002, it was believed impossible to grow wrapper leaf in the Dominican Republic.

Matt Booth Ships Sancho Panza Limited Edition – Cigar News

In 2022, General Cigar purchased the Room101 brand, and brought on Matt Booth to be their creative director. One of Booth's first projects with the company was the revitalization of the Sancho Panza brand. We rated all three of those new blends Original, Double Maduro, and Extra Fuerte. Now, the brand is getting a limited edition line extension. Something that sets this limited edition apart from the regular production version is the fact that they are rolled at the Oliva Cigar Factory, as opposed to HATSA.

"Overall, this was a very good cigar. I enjoyed the earthy and creamy notes of roasted nuts, bread, cedar and black pepper quite a bit. These flavors intermingled very well together. There was a lack of complexity and changes, but being a 60 minute smoke or so, this doesn't bother me that much." -Jiunn (jliu)

Dr. Alejandro Martínez Cuenca, Chairman of Joya de Nicaragua, has been a fan of the game Shut the Box since 2012. He learned of the game at a cigar shop, Havana Mix Shop in Memphis, TN, and was challenged to a game. Cuenca has a PhD in Economics and has always been fascinated with numbers and games with numbers. With this in mind, Joya de Nicaragua is releasing a box of Antaño cigars, designed to play this game, Antaño Shut the Box Limited Edition.
