"I have always said how a cigar look does not translate to how it performs. I have smoked some elegant-looking cigars that just didn't deliver. This one was definitely not a beauty queen, but it was a very good cigar. It kind of started to head in the direction of bitter in the middle, but recovered admirably in the final third, making for a cigar that transitioned and developed very well from start to finish. It was also a relatively slow burner. With the burn and draw on point and the strength never getting overwhelming, this is a cigar I would have zero issues handing to a new smoker, nor would I hesitate to hand one to a seasoned aficionado. Looking forward to finding out what this one is! " -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"I have always been a fan of smaller ring gauge cigars. This little cigar was a treat. The flavors and how they were delivered were very good. This is a cigar I would reach for first thing in the morning or any time I want a flavorful cigar with minimal time to smoke. It is definitely a cigar that can be enjoyed by all, as it is very mild mannered in the strength department, while more medium full in flavor and body at the finish. I will be very curious to find out what cigar this is so they can be a permanent part of my collection." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"A cigar with some of the classic notes and transitions that mesh well together. Always been a fan of red pepper and coffee notes in cigars, and to end with a mellowed out cinnamon bread, was very rewarding. I wouldn't run out and buy boxes of these, but I could definitely smoke this again." -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
"I want to smoke another one of these refined, delicious cigars immediately. I’m so curious to see if the flavor profile is consistent amongst other samples because if they are - it is without a singular doubt box-purchase worthy. Seek this excellent cigar out immediately before I buy them all!" -Matt Cade (CadeTNCC)
"This is an extremely full-bodied cigar with core flavors of earth and wood. When the initial pepper spice was joined by some mineral early on things calmed down a bit, I only wish that the addition of coffee and orange zest that appeared in the final third had arrived earlier in the smoking experience as they added some complexity and balance to the cigar that I felt was needed. As far as pairings are concerned, I highly recommend a bourbon that has a natural touch of sweetness to it." -Matt Cade (CadeTNCC)
"This enjoyable cigar featured great construction from start to finish. While there was not a great deal of complexity present, the transitions in both strength and dominant flavors (especially in the second third) were quite enjoyable. While I wish the creaminess had stuck around longer, the bold cedar and mostly consistent spice danced very well together throughout the smoking experience." -Matt Cade (CadeTNCC)
"A nice quick morning smoke. A very simple cigar with notes of bread, sweet tea, and lots of oak. Minor touch-up is needed to help with the burn. A cigar I'd seek out and add to my humidor. Pairs well with a cup of coffee and a fire." -Sean F. (fullermaine)
"This was an enjoyable cigar from the prelight on. It started of medium-full, built a little strength as it went, and finished in the upper end of the medium-full range. Flavor transition from the 2nd to the final third sealed the deal on the enjoyment factor and this is definitely a cigar I would visit again." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"I enjoyed the transition from a light sweet cedar start to more medium earth and leather to the slightly fuller smokey pepper ending. To me, this would be a great mid-morning cigar to get your taste buds kicked into gear. I couldn't ask for much more from the burn or the construction and will absolutely revisit this blend in the future." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)"
"This was an enjoyable cigar with distinct, easily discernible flavors which fluctuated in their prominence throughout the smoking experience. It was aided by solid construction and a lack of overall boringness. While not presenting itself as anything groundbreaking, I would certainly smoke this cigar again." -Matt Cade (CADE)
