While it did not offer up any transitions along its length, from the very start it did offer so many varying flavors that a change of profile would have ruined the experience. "This was an enjoyable cigar from start to finish. There were constant surprises in the profile from the pre-light all the way to the nub. It progressed the way I like for cigars to smoke. It started out with very pleasing flavors, and developed more, and different ones as it went along. The strength started out close to medium, and slowly progressed to finish solidly as medium full. "What started out as a phenomenal cigar faded quickly to bitter then harsh. There was such a great sweetness and fruit profile at the beginning I settled in to what I thought was going to be an epic cigar. Instead, the cigar turned dry and earthy with heavy ground coffee and wood notes on the finish. Even the cracking of the wrapper in the final third didn’t take away from smoking experience. All I ask is that a cigar doesn’t bore me and this stogie isn’t boring by a long shot. That harsh, somewhat bitter aspect led me to slam the brakes on the smoking experience sooner than I would have liked and it’s disappointing because I was curious as to what the final act would be.
