"This was an interesting cigar that featured highly enjoyable flavors, nice transitions, and the finish was the star of the show… until that harshness crept in towards the end. That harsh, somewhat bitter aspect led me to slam the brakes on the smoking experience sooner than I would have liked and it’s disappointing because I was curious as to what the final act would be. Sadly, I’ll never know BUT the first two thirds were indeed very good and based on that alone I would be more than willing to give this particular cigar a second chance." -Matt Cade (CadeTNCC

·“The minimalist flavors of tobacco and leather during the first third provided an enjoyable start to the cigar. The transition into the second third was nice with the addition of some char, coffee and grassy notes. Unfortunately not much more developed leaving me wanting an additional dimension or two.” –Gregg (McGreggor57)

·"For a mild cigar this one checked off many of the points I like from a fuller bodied and fuller flavored cigar. I feel this is a cigar for almost anyone to enjoy, and look forward to smoking one again soon!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

·Today, Altadis U.S.A. and AJ Fernandez announced another collaboration, the Romeo San Andrés by Romeo y Julieta. The cigar is made in Estelí, Nicaragua at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez. The blend uses an aged San Andrés wrapper, one of the more popular wrappers today.
Altadis' Grupo de Maestros is collaborating with the Plasencia family again to make a followup to their 2014 Montecristo Espada, the Montecristo Espada Oscuro. Like the original release, this is a Nicaraguan Puro. This line extension uses a Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper instead of the Nicaraguan Habano. This wrapper was chosen by Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Tabacalera USA. Nodal, Grupo de Maestro Pedro Ventura and the Plasencia family created the blend.

·"Overall, this was a great cigar. The transitions were interesting, I loved the move from pepper and spice to rich and creamy. It's not one that stands out as mind-blowing, but it was enjoyable throughout, and I would very much enjoy smoking more." -Derek (StogieNinja)
