The only thing that keeps me from sending the ratings to the top of the scale is the overall dryness of the smoke, the unbalanced pepper on the retrohale, and the draw that was to the loose side of perfect. "This was a great cigar! I really enjoyed the 1st third the best, but the rest was a very enjoyable experience as well. I got a lot of sweetness when the lighter wrapper showed up with floral and vegetal notes. When the darker wrapper came around I was picking up nuts, bread, spice, and cinnamon. It was very creamy with cedar notes along with a sugary sweetness that lingered on my lips and to top that off there was a yeast doughnut flavor on the retro! C'mon! Pick up a box now! "Overall, this is a very good cigar that will only benefit with a little more humidor time, say 3-6 months. I think this cigar might incorporate an Ecuadorian wrapper, due to the flavor profile (grass) however with its rosado shade it has me second guessing myself. I would easily recommend this cigar to a cigar newbie (on a full stomach) or a seasoned cigar enthusiast. This is a smoke I hope to get the chance to reach for again and again." -Matt C. (Big Matt)
