Since I have already been to some cigar factories, I had some idea what to expect. What was so wonderful about the tour at the Don Lucas cigar factory was the close family atmosphere. While it is a small factory by some standards, they do not cut corners on quality or final product. They meet or exceed some quality control and aging standards that I have seen from other manufacturers. They don’t disclose what daily production rates are, but they vary. It all depends on what leaf they have in stock that day that is ready to be rolled. They do not base anything off production quotas, but only on quality standards. I greatly admire that practice, especially considering how rare it is becoming in the cigar industry.
"This was amazing smoke. Plenty for everyone here with peanuts, cream, honey & cedar. I think the only thing missing was spice and strength. this would a great cigar after a meal or even in the morning with your coffee. It was just right." -Mickey T. (irratebass)
"I found this cigar to be great. It started out spicy but mellowed out to a nice earthy flavor with very good construction. I would have preferred a thicker smoke, but it wasn't bad. I will definitely try this cigar again." -Craig (WyldKnyght)
"I really did enjoy this cigar even with the draw issues. The touch-ups did take away from the enjoyment, but in the end, the cigar's flavor outweighed the negative burn issue." -Craig (WyldKnyght)
"This is a cigar that I wouldn't mind trying again. It had a nice simple profile that wasn't overpowering and could be enjoyed anytime by anyone. Performance was great too as it required little to no attention to keep burning." -Will (Dubv23)

·"This was just a beautiful cigar to look at and even hold in my hand. Looks alone this cigar would be killer. Unfortunately I had some draw issues on this one. Normally I would have taken the draw poker to it but since it was a review I wanted to smoke it as is. I did enjoy the flavors I got throughout they were just very muted and in the end became bitter. I would love to try this cigar again and hope for better construction." -Zane G. (Zane)
"I'd park this firmly in the "good" camp. It was pleasant, and I wouldnt mind smoking another, but it's not something I'll chase. I would be minorly interested to see how a smaller ring gauge would improve the overall experience, but to be honest, I would only pursue that if someone else recommended it. As it stands, this doesn't stand out to me at all." -Derek (StogieNinja)

·"I really enjoyed this cigar. I had a very hard time describing the flavors but they were good and they were stronger than I thought they would be from the look of the cigar. This was a cigar I'd buy a box of." -Paul (pmr1010)
This year, we decided to give you a tour of the show through the pictures we took while we were there. Some are of new items, and some are just things we thought were interesting. These manufacturers were not sharing booth space, we just combined them into a single slideshow due to the number of pictures we had from each.

This was a very good cigar almost from the start to the finish. It would have scored much higher had the final third been as complex as the previous thirds.
