Blind Cigar Review: A.J. Fernandez | Last Call

"Overall, this is a very good cigar that will only benefit with a little more humidor time, say 3-6 months. I think this cigar might incorporate an Ecuadorian wrapper, due to the flavor profile (grass) however with its rosado shade it has me second guessing myself. I would easily recommend this cigar to a cigar newbie (on a full stomach) or a seasoned cigar enthusiast. This is a smoke I hope to get the chance to reach for again and again." -Matt C. (Big Matt)

"This was a wonderful experience. The flavors were nice and constant and never strayed in to bitterness and yuck. The cedar flavor was there from begging to end. The best part was the slightly sweet taste left on the palate. The aroma was that of a cedar log burning in the fireplace that made this one even more enjoyable. Definitely one for the humidor. "This is a cigar I would happily smoke again while I was doing something different to occupy my time such as shooting skeet or at the golf driving range. The profile peaked in the second third but then fell off with the mineral flavors in the final third. I put the cigar down with a little less than 2 inches as I felt the profile wasn't going to change. Smoke output was plentiful and stormed off the foot.
