Byron is a brand from Selected Tobacco Company. It was created by Nelson Alfonso who is a graphic designer that is behind designs for all of the major Cuban brands including the famed Behike. The cigar comes from Costa Rica and the Londinenses vitola is 5.5” x 54. Blend information is undisclosed which is common for all of the brands released by Alfonso.
The Hechicera Maduro is the second and final blend from the Sotolongo Cigars partnership with Christian Eiroa and was released in August of 2014. The cigar has a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler. The Robusto measures in at 4.5”x50 and carries an MSRP of $7.46.
This is the time of year that publications, websites and passionate cigar smokers start releasing their “Cigar of the Year” lists. Not all of these lists are created equally though, so we wanted to point out what some of the differences are, what you should be looking for and what to take into consideration when evaluating them or comparing them to other lists.
The Nestor Miranda Collection was released this year (2014). The Connecticut is a rebranded version of the Nestor Miranda Special Selection Connecticut. The blend is the same, so it’s nothing more than a rebranding of that cigar.

The Wormhole line was created by Foundry Tobacco Company to combine the past, present and future. They offer three blends, the 1964, the 2014 and the 2064. There is no real blend info released for these cigars.
