Back in 2016, Julio and Justo Eiroa began growing crops of Sumatra tobacco, the same time they starting the same process with Cameroon. Now, the company is set to release a blend with their own Honduran-grown Sumatra wrapper. This new blend is said to have been influenced by the youngest generation of Eiroas with the fourth generation getting more involved and taking a more modern play on box design. This is the first Aladino cigar blend that does not have the Aladino image in the inside of the box.
"This little perfecto was a flavor bomb from start to finish. There were clear transitions in each third. It should be easily approachable for every cigar smoke and could become someone’s everyday cigar. This might be the best cigar I smoked this year. It will for sure find a home on my top cigar of the year list. I highly recommend you seek this cigar out." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
"This cigar was very good. I can easily see myself putting this cigar in any customer's hand. There is enough going on that the experienced smoker won't get bored; yet not too overwhelming for a new smoker. I feel like it would be the perfect morning cigar with a cup of coffee. " -Estevan Z. "Nubworthy, buy a box, smoke one every day, what else can I say? This cigar was extremely enjoyable from pre light to nub. The flavor transitions were amazing and the complexity, which is sometimes not a good thing, was 100% on point here. It starts of medium and sweet and finished bold and zesty. Not so sweet that it is hard to pair with a beverage and not so spicy that it wrecks your palate. Well balanced, well blended. These will be a permanent resident in the humidor!" -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"This is a cigar that really grew on me. For an evening smoke, I was hoping for something that had a bit more punch but the flavors were so crisp I fell in love with it. It isn't something that would stand up to a strong drink late at night but if you really want an amazing cigar with clean flavors this is it. " -Alan (Eulogy)

·"This was a very enjoyable experience! Flavors were on point throughout and in my wheelhouse. Lots of dry cocoa and milk chocolate. I would definitely smoke these again. Box worthy in my opinion." -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
"I have always said how a cigar look does not translate to how it performs. I have smoked some elegant-looking cigars that just didn't deliver. This one was definitely not a beauty queen, but it was a very good cigar. It kind of started to head in the direction of bitter in the middle, but recovered admirably in the final third, making for a cigar that transitioned and developed very well from start to finish. It was also a relatively slow burner. With the burn and draw on point and the strength never getting overwhelming, this is a cigar I would have zero issues handing to a new smoker, nor would I hesitate to hand one to a seasoned aficionado. Looking forward to finding out what this one is! " -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
General Cigar has announced a new regular production line to the Punch brand. Punch Golden Era was designed to celebrate corojo tobacco that had a starring role in the “golden age” of cigars. Corojo had been used as the wrapper of choice on many cigars until tobacco diseases and mold brought the tobacco to the brink of extinction.

"What made the cigar unique is that while the primary flavors of citrus, meats, and chocolates were always there, the aspect of those flavors changed. You start off with a nice grilled steak and then you moved to a barbecue, and then you finished with something that was overly prepared. Or you had a nice citrus peel, that went dry. And then you finished with an unripened fruit. Very unique.I I found that rather interesting and I would definitely give this a try again." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
