"Definitely a good cigar with nice warm toasty and sweet flavors. Perfect to pair with a cool fall evening. Very warm transitions that built in strength and ended with a pop of nicotine goodness." -Adam B. (Bushboy)

·"It's been a while since I had a cigar that I felt was truly extraordinary, and that dry spell has been broken! This cigar is firmly in my wheelhouse in all areas. The flavors were deep and meaty, the performance excellent, and the strength was just enough to pair with any meal or beverage that I'd want to enjoy it with. This probably isn't something I'd push off on a new smoker, but really...I liked it so much that I'd be hard pressed to share it with anyone. Can't wait for the reveal on this!" -Jason H. Foundation Cigar Company’s has announced two new sizes in the Tabernacle line: David and Goliath. Tabernacle was Nick Melillio's second traditional premium cigar line, coming the year after El Güegüense. Tabernacle was his first Foundation cigar to use Connecticut broadleaf and out of reverence for the tobacco leaf, and tobacco tradition came the name, from Hebrew scripture: The Tabernacle - which housed the Ark of the Covenant before the building of the Temple of Solomon.
Foundation Cigar Company is adding a Habano version of it's Charter Oak line. The original launch of the Charter Oak came in two blends, Connecticut Shade and Connecticut Broadleaf. The line is value priced, but has always been regarded as one of the best inexpensive cigars on the market.
Foundation Cigar Company released the original Highclere Castle in 2017. Now they are adding a line extension in the form of a maduro wrapper called Highclere Castle Victorian. This new blend will be shown off at IPCPR 2019 and will ship August 2019.
Draw, burn, and construction were spot on and should be a mile marker what the quality of how a cigar should be rolled and constructed. The flavor profiles of chocolate, coffee, and leather appeared to be the dominate flavor profiles throughout the cigar which provided a nice relaxing experience. While I did not pair it with anything, a mocha latte or hot chocolate would pair wonderfully with this cigar as they would compliment each other immensely. Complexity was not in full force, however the profile was enjoyable enough to keep me happy throughout the duration of the session. Definitely something you should pick up if ever given the chance to attend a Foundation event!

·"I absolutely loved this cigar. This was one of the best cigars I have reviewed this year, if not the best. Whatever it is will be a contender for cigar of the year for sure. The flavors were plentiful, balanced and interesting. Construction was top-notch. I highly recommend everyone try this cigar, and I will buy a box. Highly recommend this." -Emmett (BMP_Emmett)
