Southern Draw is bringing 300 HANDS Connecticut to IPCPR 2019. Last year, it released the 300 HANDS Maduro and 300 MANOS Habano at IPCPR scoring a 93 and 90 respectively. The series is focused on collaboration through charity and is named after the 300 pairs of hands that touch every cigar that is made. See more about the project on their website.

·"As a fan of heavier, more full bodied cigars, this was a nice change of pace for me on this cold winter day. Loved the citrus and oak notes I got from this, especially on the retrohale. Would I buy a box, probably not but its definitely worth a fiver. Enjoyable overall. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)

·"It's been a while since I had a cigar that I felt was truly extraordinary, and that dry spell has been broken! This cigar is firmly in my wheelhouse in all areas. The flavors were deep and meaty, the performance excellent, and the strength was just enough to pair with any meal or beverage that I'd want to enjoy it with. This probably isn't something I'd push off on a new smoker, but really...I liked it so much that I'd be hard pressed to share it with anyone. Can't wait for the reveal on this!" -Jason H. Cigar Marketplace, a B2B Premium Cigar and Accessories online brokerage, has announced a collaboration with AJ Fernandez to offer an exclusive new product: a 4 x 36 version of New World packaged in 6-count tins. The tins come in displays of 5 count.
Today, Crux Cigars began shipping it's latest release: Crux Epicure Maduro. This is an extension of 2016's Epicure which used a Connecticut shade wrapper, now replaced with a Mexican San Andres Maduro. Last year Crux announced the Epicure Galant, which on paper is the same blend as this cigar. Since then, the name and factory have been changed. The cigar is now called Epicure Maduro and is made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. This is the first Crux to be rolled outside Plasencia Cigars S.A.

·"With a lot of cigars I find the cedar to be a bit heavy handed, not so with this one. The transition from a mature cedar to slightly charred then to a young sweeter one was very nice. The addition of hay, grass and leather paired well with the background flavors of nuts, coffee and cocoa. This cigar certainly offered me a very pleasant smoking experience." -Gregg (McGreggor57)

·"If this cigar had captured the final 3rd throughout it would have been great, unfortunately, there was too much chemical flavor during the first two 3rds to reccomend this cigar to anyone." -Craig (WyldKnyght)

·"Overall this was a good smoke. I think this would not be a good first cigar of the day, but if you had a full day of smoking this would be a nice 2nd or 3rd stick of the day. Just beware it does pick up the spice in the final 1/3rd and through the whole 2nd third, but becomes a nice pleasant smoke at the end." -Mickey T. (irratebass)
