·"Although the wrapper was a little darker than most Connecticuts, I believe this was one. It was medium bodied the whole way through, and had lots of flavors. I really enjoyed this cigar form start to finish. It could be smoked at any time of the day. The quality of the construction and the tobaccos is very high, and I appreciate that. I would definitely buy a box of these." -Emmett (rhetorik)

·"Overall, the cigar was smoking pretty well in the beginning. There were interesting flavors and a good burn. But the final third really made it hard to give an overall rating, because this may have just been a one off error, and more than likely was." -Jerad (Cigar Federation)

·"This cigar was a nice mix of a dark wrapper with nice smooth subtle flavors that aren't always typical of a cigar with this dark and oily of an exterior. I enjoyed the quick transitions and the way this cigar changed completely from the beginning to the end. It was a small cigar and a bit of a quick burner, but something I can see as 5 pack worthy." -Jack (Jack_H)
Here are the latest pictures from IPCPR of the upcoming Tatuaje Monster Series release Jekyll and Hyde. Be sure to...
This was a good cigar, better than average. It has some really interesting flavors and unique spices. The too loose draw made the burn go wonky and the cigar get hot towards the end, but I think, knowing the quality of cigars coming out of my father, this is not a normal occurrence. I would definitely smoke this again, but I don't know if it's box worthy, maybe a 5er to see how it ages. I give this a personal score of 90.

·"The flavors had a few transitions, and those flavors were good, but nothing exceptional. I could see this being something to reach for when in the mood for that woody/char experience. If others experienced a better draw, then I could see this being something to smoke on occasion." -Aaron (aaron7
The Garcia family, owners of My Father Cigars, has acquired a hybrid wrapper grown in Connecticut and, with it, created a new brand: El Centurion H-2K-CT. Scheduled for release at the IPCPR trade show next month, this will be a spinoff of the core El Centurion line. The new cigar is named after the H-2K-CT Connecticut wrapper type, which the company said is proprietary to El Centurion. But it isn't a Connecticut wrapper in the usual sense. This isn't shade grown or broadleaf, but a Cuban-seed strain of tobacco grown in open sunlight and cultivated in the Connecticut River Valley.
