"Straightforward notes of leather, plum, and black pepper are a good summary of what this cigar offers. It wasn't very exciting, but it wasn't bad either. Solid middle of the road cigar with nothing to really write home to mom about. " -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)

·Every year we put together a list of our Top 25 Cigars of the Year. Our list is a bit different from some other lists, it is not simply a rehashing of our top scores from the year, or one person's opinion. We gave each of our panelists 10 votes to cast how they please for what they enjoyed the most in 2019. The order of their votes matter, so their #1 pick is worth twice as much as #10. The cigars do not have to have been reviewed by Blind Man's Puff, but the panelist must have smoked it.

·"I really enjoyed this cigar. It had just enough transitions to keep me interested and just kept getting better as I went along. There was a lot of creamy coco, brown sugar, leather, hay, and woodiness notes that all worked together in a really nice way. I would suggest trying one for yourself. " -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)
This cigar carried a bit more strength than I expected based on previous cigars from HVC. It has darker flavors which would make me lean towards smoking it in the evening or as a final cigar of a multi-cigar smoking experience. There weren’t many transitions, but that is OK as the cigars flavors were good. I wouldn’t recommend this cigar to a new smoker, but rather someone that is interested in strength along with flavors of earthiness, coffee and wood.

·"The cigar provides a very easy and pleasant experience. There is not much to think about and in the same vein I wish I did! The complexity is quite lacking with a very unilateral leather and tobacco profile. I will do this one again but probably will not go out looking for one." -Sandeep (Djangos)
