Blind Cigar Review: Warped | El Oso Cub

"Excellent cigar. Although not in my typical flavor wheelhouse, I appreciate a rich and powerful cigar. This will be great to smoke a couple of after a grilled fatty steak (like a bone in ribeye). This will probably also hold very well to whiskey, cutting some of the chili bite. I'd seek out a fiver." -Jiunn (jliu)

Blind Cigar Review: Cornelius & Anthony | Cornelius Toro

"This is a cigar that I feel could benefit from an extended nap in the humidor to smooth out the edges and let the lesser, more nuanced flavors emerge. As it is, it is a good smoke, but I would hesitate to recommend it to a new smoker, and would certainly not have someone try this one for their first retrohale. Once I find out what this is, I may hunt down a few to bury in the humidor for 12 months or more...just to see what father time can do. " -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

"Everything looks right about this cigar. It's got a beautiful dark brown wrapper, silky smooth and oily. Nice tight seams. Small veins and a neat triple cap. It looks appetizing." -Brian (B-daddy)

Quick Cigar Review: Warped | The Absurd

The relights kinda hurt this one for me. I think I had to touch up once and outright relight it four times which was weird because it would just go out the moment after I took a draw. The flavors were very unique and I can't recall the last time I had a cigar with this upfront level of cinnamon in the profile but my tongue feels like its been rubbed raw from the experience. It sounds a bit harsh but in actuality this is a fantastic cigar as far as the flavors and smoke output is concerned.

Blind Cigar Review: Warped | La Colmena Black Honey

"Very solid cigar across the board. It won't change your life or make you feel as if you'd been touched by the hand of God, but it is a well constructed and tasty smoke. It doesn't require much effort to tease out and identify exotic flavors, or significant transitions, but what is there is very up front, and enjoyable. " -John I. (John I.)

Accessory Review: Xikar | Envoy High Performance Cigar Case

The wow factor in this case comes from the top. It is a metal accent piece with a nice polished finish. The narrow fins with the black contrast insets are meant to mimic the look of the cooling fins on an engine. Just like the cruiser motorcycles that this look is meant to emulate, the contrast of the black leather against the shiny chrome is a classic look. Even with the v-twin styling, this case would also feel at home in the breast pocket of your favorite business suit.

Blind Cigar Review: George Rico | S.T.K. Miami Barracuda Limited Edition Maduro 2014

"Overall, this was a very good cigar. I enjoyed the earthy and creamy notes of roasted nuts, bread, cedar and black pepper quite a bit. These flavors intermingled very well together. There was a lack of complexity and changes, but being a 60 minute smoke or so, this doesn't bother me that much." -Jiunn (jliu)

Canimao King George Limited Edition 2016 – Blind Cigar Review

"This cigar was not at all what I expected. The dark appearance would scary many but this cigar was very approachable and should find a home in many humidors. I would be interested to find out what it is and will most likely keep a few on hand to enjoy after a hearty meals." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)

Editorial: Roll With It – Home-Rolled Cigars

Something fascinating about mankind… We have the capacity to make things. Of course we also have the capacity to destroy or cause problems, but we hope to strive for the good. When we see craftsmanship or creativity many of us are drawn to it like a moth to a flame. In our past, creativity was a kind of survival skill. We had to create new things like shelter and tools in order to survive or improve quality of life. Since civilization emerged, our creativity has morphed into the aesthetic and the artistic. In some cases, it can even take on a competitive facet. We want to know if we can do it better than the other guy, or we want to know if we can do it at all, thereby competing with ourselves. We want to experiment with our own creative nature. We want to know if we can make what we see others make. We want to know if we can make it better. This has always been a part of our nature, and this trait is responsible for some of the most wonderful things that we still enjoy today.

Blind Cigar Review: Casa Fernandez | Miami Reserva Toro

"Rock solid smoke, if this cigar was a baseball player it would be Cal Ripken, something you could totally bank on in a pinch. It didn't change a ton through the cigar but it was strong and not overwhelming at all which is not an easy thing to say about a stick of this caliber." -Jack (Jack_H)
