"Even though this one finished with a bitter taste, overall I still find this a good cigar. The beginning was promising with notes of hickory and sweet cherry, the cherry faded in to the back ground over time moving to a bold and bitter taste. All in all the flavors held for the most part and finished strong and bitter. To me all of this gave the cigar some good personality." -Eric (smalls29)

·"This cigar had everything going for me. Lots of cream, wood, chocolate, and just a hint of spice at the end. It lasted a full 2 hours and never increased in strength, just dynamite. " -Mickey T. (irratebass)

·"This wasn’t the most progressive smoke in the world for me but it was very pleasant. I enjoyed the flavor notes and especially the last third where the smok tobacco came more into play. This cigar was very relaxing to me as it was smooth, minimal if at all pepper notes, cocoa, some floral and other earthy flavors were consistent and tasty." -Diana (ArmyRN)
"This was a very tasty cigar for me and hit a lot of different flavor notes that my palette enjoyed immensely. There was enough variation and change that I was kept interested and paid more attention while smoking because of the constant nuanced changes. This is a great cigar for almost any level of cigar smoker. Not too strong for a beginner and complex enough for the seasoned smoker’s palette." -Diana (ArmyRN)
Overall the Emilio Papa Joe is an extremely pleasant smooth smoke with just enough spice for those who enjoy that in a cigar. It is also overall a nice smooth smoke with cedar, baking spices and pepper spice on the retro that it can be enjoyed as your first cigar of the day with coffee or as an everyday smoke at any time of day. It is a very nice addition to the Emilio portfolio by Fabrica Oveja Negra.

"This was a pretty tasty cigar to me the whole way through. It’s core flavor profile kept me happy however it lacked much change or translation which made it a bit one note during the smoking session. Coupled with the quick burning time from a lack of being rolled tightly enough, it doesn’t get to high of a mark from me, however it was very good at what it did provide. " -John A. (Bostoneo)

·"I really enjoyed this cigar. It had just enough transitions to keep me interested and just kept getting better as I went along. There was a lot of creamy coco, brown sugar, leather, hay, and woodiness notes that all worked together in a really nice way. I would suggest trying one for yourself. " -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)

·"I really liked this cigar. It performed beautifully, it gave me lots of sweet chocolate flavors with a bit of white pepper and some baking spices. It never got above a medium in strength, and I even caught myself a few times looking at the cigar and saying out loud "Wow this is good." Would definitely smoke more, if not purchase a box.
