"The final third was the star for me with perfectly balanced flavors of sweet and savory. The initial third had me wondering if this was a spice bomb but the heat backed off just before the halfway mark. I appreciated the nice transition offered during the smoke. While not flavorful enough for a special occasion perhaps, I would definitely keep some on hand." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
"Initially, I get a lot of that leather taste I picked up in pre-light and a medium amount of pepper spice. Once we get into it, I'm getting a combination of chocolate, cream and coffee, like a latte. Very nice! The draw and burn are performing admirably for such a large ring gauge. Towards the end of the third, I start picking up a dry wood, not quite distinguishable." -Emmett (rhetorik)

Eric Guttormson's brother-in-law is a K9 officer so it's only fitting that their collaboration would center around a K9 theme.
"This was a very sweet deep dark chocolate fruity smoke. I don't often like sweet smoking cigars but this one was very enjoyable. The retrohale was very different with complex sweetness, red pepper bursts, and pipe tobacco flavor to it. I would really like to have a couple more of these to try and possibly consider added to my humidor. For the blind tasting I had a Mexican mineral water but I believe a good bourbon or peaty scotch would pair excellently with this smoke." -Chad M. (Chad Tchad)

"This may be the most tree-like cigar I have ever had. The solid smoky oak flavor was strong and prominent from start to finish. Occasional cedar, floral notes, and white pepper on the retrohale added a bit of interest but overall I wouldn't call this a very complex stick. It also smoked faster than I expected at just barely over an hour. For that length, complexity isn't that necessary. I would smoke this again and would absolutely recommend this stick to anyone who seeks out those wood notes in a cigar." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
