"This cigar was good, but not great. It's one of those cigars that stay consistent. If I wasn't reviewing it I may have enjoyed it more. This is the kind of cigar that you can smoke and not pay attention to like if you smoke this while watching a show or reading. The cigar had some really nice flavors to me. "This is a cigar that I feel could benefit from an extended nap in the humidor to smooth out the edges and let the lesser, more nuanced flavors emerge. As it is, it is a good smoke, but I would hesitate to recommend it to a new smoker, and would certainly not have someone try this one for their first retrohale. "This was a very fun experience for me. I smoked it in the middle of the day on a very clean palate and was very pleasantly surprised. This is a very mild-mannered cigar, and with the profile of it, I find myself craving a nice Anejo tequila to pair with it the next time I smoke it. With the citrus and sweetness present in the cigar, I feel this would be an epic pairing. "I found this cigar to be very intriguing. It’s a good-looking cigar and well constructed. For a medium-strength cigar it provided a consistent foundation of flavor while introducing variations throughout the entire smoke. The weaving of flavors, with the majority of them combining in the second third, really kept me interested and enjoying this stick. I would definitely revisit this cigar. "After leaving the blocks a little slow this cigar found its stride in the second third and never looked back. It is a refined smoke that will only get better with time. There were a few rough edges earlier on but ultimately the smoking experience was very pleasant. This would a great cigar to start your day with a beverage of the smoker’s choice. "Excellent cigar. Although not in my typical flavor wheelhouse, I appreciate a rich and powerful cigar. This will be great to smoke a couple of after a grilled fatty steak (like a bone in ribeye). This will probably also hold very well to whiskey, cutting some of the chili bite. I'd seek out a fiver." -Jiunn (jliu)
