CAO Arcana Mortal Coil – Blind Cigar Review

"Holy hell, three hours to smoke a Toro? Sure was! And it was a great one at that. It had great flavors, good transitions, and kept my interest going, somehow, for that long. The entirety of this cigar is better than its components. Each third, when broken down, doesn't score as well to me as the entire experience. This isn't a cigar I could smoke on a daily basis because, frankly, I don't have three hours every day to enjoy a cigar. However when I find such occasion you bet I will fire this one up again. D’Crossier Golden Blend Reserva Cañonazo – Blind Cigar Review

"Overall this is a pretty good cigar. Construction was fantastic to the point where I considered if it was machine rolled. Absolutely flawless. Very light weight. For a Toro cigar rolled with this precision I would expect more oily and heavier tobacco’s. Not a bad thing, but lead to easier smoke output and a quicker burn. Flavors kept me guessing the whole time and we’re always interesting. Quite different from the beginning of the cigar to the end in a pleasant way. Will definitely smoke this one again." -Adam B. "This was an interesting cigar. I started out mild/medium and kept ramping up in strength were it even caused a bit of a nicotine buzz. The main flavor component was wood & spice, there was a nice floral and cream on the retro in the beginning then turned to more spice, until the final third which brought heavy cinnamon on the retro very unusual. "I enjoyed this quite a lot. Nice change from my usual flavor preferences as well as being out of my comfort zone in terms of vitola. Served as a nice reminder to get out of your comfort zone once in a while. There's a great big world of cigar opportunities out there and it's nice to step out of your normal routine from time to time. This cigar stayed pretty much in the medium realm throughout in terms of strength and complexity. The display of really nicely refined baked good flavor, floral qualities, finishing with rich dark woody notes offered a nice range of experiences. Aside from some mid-smoke missteps in construction this was a real joy of a cigar. " -John I. (John I.)
