"Even though this cigar was a mild/medium taste, the woody flavors had a nice balance throughout. There were flavors of oak and cherry wood with a nice campfire aroma coming from the smoke. The after-taste was not over powering and left a nice taste behind. Even though a bitter flavor showed, it did not come until almost at the end. "This is a cigar that I feel could benefit from an extended nap in the humidor to smooth out the edges and let the lesser, more nuanced flavors emerge. As it is, it is a good smoke, but I would hesitate to recommend it to a new smoker, and would certainly not have someone try this one for their first retrohale. "If I were to make my own cigar, it would look much like this. It was almost painful to put this cigar down. The savory qualities kept me coming back to it, distracting me from other things (like the kiddo crying about her ball rolling into the street.) It wouldn't be hard to put this cigar into regular rotation, and when this is posted, I'll probably find a box. Quick Cigar Review: My Father | La Antiguedad Robusto

This was a good cigar, better than average. It has some really interesting flavors and unique spices. The too loose draw made the burn go wonky and the cigar get hot towards the end, but I think, knowing the quality of cigars coming out of my father, this is not a normal occurrence. I would definitely smoke this again, but I don't know if it's box worthy, maybe a 5er to see how it ages. I give this a personal score of 90.
