Cigar News: Recluse Announces Amadeus Rosado

Recluse Cigar Company announces the release of Recluse Amadeus Rosado. This blend is an expansion of our very successful Recluse Amadeus series of blends. This new blend features the finest Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper available on the market as well as a variety of Dominican, San Andreas and Pennsylvania fillers. This blend is meant stimulate the complexities of the palate. Recluse Cigars President, Scott Weeks says, "It is one of the most complex cigars we have ever made. The Recluse Amadeus Rosado will be showcased at the 2016 IPCPR tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV. July 25th-28th.

"Dinner was done and the air was finally starting to cool when I went out to give this cigar a try. I was blown away initially by the huge flavors this cigar produced and I couldn't have been luckier to have waited until early evening to smoke the cigar. "This was a wonderful experience. The flavors were nice and constant and never strayed in to bitterness and yuck. The cedar flavor was there from begging to end. The best part was the slightly sweet taste left on the palate. The aroma was that of a cedar log burning in the fireplace that made this one even more enjoyable. Definitely one for the humidor. "This cigar was fun to smoke. Though it may not be my favorite size, I prefer a 42-48RG, I never once felt uncomfortable smoking it. It was ever changing and kept my interest throughout. This would make a great cigar that could be enjoyed as you were day drinking. Would pair well with any type of spirit and most wines due to it flavor profile. It is a little bit of a time commitment due to it's size but well worth it. I will have to grab a few for my next beer fest or social gathering where I know I will have the time to enjoy it. "Overall, this was a VERY consistent flavored stick throughout the entire experience. Omnipresent notes of leather exist the whole time, which minor deviations throughout, most notably the nutty presence at the end, which was yum. Burn and construction were spots on the entire time without any flaws at all while the draw slightly learned on the loose side. Not a bad stick, one of the better ones I’ve had lately, however, it didn’t overly impress me and was a slightly better for an average cigar on the market today." -John A. (Bostoneo)

"With a lot of cigars I find the cedar to be a bit heavy handed, not so with this one. The transition from a mature cedar to slightly charred then to a young sweeter one was very nice.
