Monday, February 6th 2017 - For Immediate Release - After celebrating much success with our Gaaja Toro, it was time to release the much awaited Gaaja Torpedo and their Maduro counterparts (G aaja Maduro Torpedo and Toro).
"I did not mind this cigar at all. It was fairly one noted, but that blend of leather and cashew work synergistically together to hit all of the right keys. I wouldn't mind having one of these in the future paired with some espresso." -Kent (Throck)

·“This is a cigar that I could see myself giving to a novice or a seasoned cigar smoker. The seasoned bloke will enjoy the change in pace of flavors presented on sample 529 and the novice will become introduced into the world of what a premium cigar can offer. This is a cigar that could be smoked and enjoyed after several other offerings as the profile is bold and evident. Construction was top-notch and however many hundred or thousand hands it touched before coming to fruition, it was worth it.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)

·“The minimalist flavors of tobacco and leather during the first third provided an enjoyable start to the cigar. The transition into the second third was nice with the addition of some char, coffee and grassy notes. Unfortunately not much more developed leaving me wanting an additional dimension or two.” –Gregg (McGreggor57)

·"I absolutely loved this cigar. This was one of the best cigars I have reviewed this year, if not the best. Whatever it is will be a contender for cigar of the year for sure. The flavors were plentiful, balanced and interesting. Construction was top-notch. I highly recommend everyone try this cigar, and I will buy a box. Highly recommend this." -Emmett (BMP_Emmett)
"This is just a great cigar that hits all of the notes that I tend to prefer in a smoke. There could be more nuance, or complexity which would make it truly spectacular, but this blend is one that I'd have no problem returning to again and again. As soon as this one is revealed I'm getting a box. Or three." -John I. (John I.)

·"This cigar was never in my wheelhouse, but I am happy I got the opportunity to smoke it. This cigar expands the palate from prelight to the nub of what a premium cigar can offer in terms of flavor. Maybe my palate is broken.. I have no idea, but the exhale/retro was interesting delivering the wet wood, peat, earth, citrus, salt and flighty cream. I would happily have a few of these on hand to enjoy with some rye whiskey." -Matt C. (Big Matt)
"This was a really great cigar to smoke during my annual camping trip. Wasn't to light and wasn't a pepper bomb. Perfect mix of flavors paired well with a few glasses of scotch by the campfire. These will not disappoint. Enjoy." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

·“This larger vitola benefited from a nice change up of flavors. Although there were no stars, the subtle nuances held my interest for ninety minutes. My biggest issue was an inconsistent and loose draw that made it difficult to pull out a wider range of tastes. I would try this one again based on the flavors.” –Gregg (McGreggor57)

·"I enjoyed this cigar. I'm starting to become more a fan of the torpedo shape and although this seemed to start out a little harsh, the flavors came to the forefront and stole the show. I would recommend this cigar for those aficionados who wish to have changing complexities throughout his smoke." -Kent (Throck)
