Blind Cigar Review: Gurkha | Cellar Reserve 15 Year Toro

“Overall this was a decent flavor profile.. for nearly the whole stick. Even draws and bad burn knocked this stick down points even more as it caused an unpleasant smoking experience; at least it didn’t blow up. I’d have to sample another before making an ultimate decision on whether or not to put it in my naughty or nice list. ” -John A. (Bostoneo)

Blind Cigar Review: Cohiba | Siglo II

“Overall this cigar was very mild, very smooth, very one dimensional. No pepper spice at anywhere during the smoke. There are some people out there that like a super mild, no spice Connecticut. I am not one of those people. Even though this cigar was extremely well made, it’s just not my thing.” -Wes (SosaCub4Life)

Blind Cigar Review: La Barba | Ricochet (Primitivo) 5 3/4 x 46

“Overall this was a very nice cigar for me. It started out with a lot of strong pepper spice but then as it went on the spice calmed down but was always there. It became full, thick and creamy and the construction was perfect.” -Wes (SosaCub4Life)

Blind Cigar Review: Home Roll | DBL Press No. 1157

“Good smoke. For someone who enjoys milder cigars that aren’t tremendously challenging, this would be a nice cigar. Construction was on point aside from some initial draw concerns.
Flavor wise it wasn’t a big show, but if you like nice flowery cigars, this is definitely one. Probably wouldn’t be bad with coffee on a Sunday morning.” -John I. (John I.)

Blind Cigar Review: Davidoff | Master Selection 2011

“Great smoke. Amazing construction which has definitely contributed to the experience. Deep rich leather and nuttiness on bold display here. It’s a flavor profile that I enjoyed a lot although there wasn’t a lot of transitional stuff going on. I’d be happy to smoke these by the truckload, and I’d nub them every time. ” -John I. (John I.)

Blind Cigar Review: J. Fuego | Connoisseur Originals

“This was a really nice cigar. After the first few draws, the cigar really picked up and the flavors came through. They were rich and full flavors that had a medium body and complexity. The cigar smoked well and was very easy by just lighting and going. I was initially worried about the look of this cigar, but it smoked quite well.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

Blind Cigar Review: La Gloria Cubana | Serie RF No. 13

“One draw issue aside, this was an excellent smoke, one I really, really hope in on the bargain side of things so I can stock up, but I’m guessing it’s likely a premium. Overall it was well constructed, burned great, had excellent thick smoke output, and really well balanced flavor. One I will definitely seek out again, regardless of price! Highly recommended.” -Derek (StogieNinja)

Blind Cigar Review: Pura Soul | Maduro Robusto

“With all the different things going on in this blend, there is a unity that is achieved here that is rare in cigar blending. While I was not blown away by this cigar, I was satisfied with the expectations I had based on its stellar appearance. I normally go for really chocolatey, rich cigars. And this was definitely rich in flavor, just in different ways than I am used to. I know it sounds ridiculous to describe a cigar as “smoky” but the flavors taste like they were fresh off the grill. There were also no real touch-ups to speak of. I would definitely smoke this again. Age and a good stout would both be great for this stick.” -Ryan (Youngryan216)

Blind Cigar Review: Padilla | Single Batch Perfecto

“It was full enough to keep me puffing, but mild enough for an adventurous noob to stretch their horizons. I’ve seen one other cigar that looked like this, so maybe I can guess what it is, but I can assure you that I’ll have more of these when the reveal happens!” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Blind Cigar Review: Ramon Bueso | Olancho Vintage Torpedo

“This is a cigar that I could see myself giving to a novice or a seasoned cigar smoker. The seasoned bloke will enjoy the change in pace of flavors presented on sample 529 and the novice will become introduced into the world of what a premium cigar can offer. This is a cigar that could be smoked and enjoyed after several other offerings as the profile is bold and evident. Construction was top-notch and however many hundred or thousand hands it touched before coming to fruition, it was worth it.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)
