This is a very good entry cigar into the MBombay portfolio. There is a lot of flavor but not a lot of spice making it a good morning cigar. There was enough transition with the addition of some pepper to keep it interesting. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys milder cigars or an intro into the MBombay brand.
This is a cigar that got better as it went along. Plenty of transitions to keep things interesting and one that just begs you to keep retrohaling to experience all of the flavors that it offers. The fuller strength is something that may be better suited for the end of the day or after a meal. The price point fits the experience, so I wouldn't hesitate on pulling the trigger on getting some of these if they are available to you.
For Brun del Ré, they were showcasing two new offerings, the 1638 Gran Toro Ltd. Edition and the Piccolo.
"Overall this is a pretty good cigar. Construction was fantastic to the point where I considered if it was machine rolled. Absolutely flawless. Very light weight. For a Toro cigar rolled with this precision I would expect more oily and heavier tobacco’s. Not a bad thing, but lead to easier smoke output and a quicker burn. Flavors kept me guessing the whole time and we’re always interesting. Quite different from the beginning of the cigar to the end in a pleasant way. Will definitely smoke this one again." -Adam B. ·"This cigar was wonderful and complex and it did something I look for in every cigar but few deliver upon, it told a story. With three distinct thirds, it made for a complex and interesting smoke that I totally enjoyed I would be happy to smoke this again soon." -Jack (Jack_H)
Nick Syris released the LH Premium Cigar brand to the United States in 2014. In that release, the LH Claro was one of the blends that was introduced. The LH Claro originally came clad in a black and gold band over a Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf. Nick did some rebranding in 2015 on the entire LH line of premium cigars, and he also took some time during that period to make some changes to the blend of the LH Claro.
"I'd love to smoke this again. The flavors were crisp and clean with a nice progression throughout. The smoke output was great after a few re-cuts; but I'm not sure I would have discovered that if not for the massive tar build up. " -Alan (Eulogy)

·"This is a fantastic cigar with well balanced flavors and a smooth rich texture. The sweet notes in this cigar range from honey, to caramel, to a vanilla cream, which really makes the cigar come to life. These sweet notes pair well with hearty tobacco and oak notes. Construction is top notch and the draw evens out into a smooth draw with just enough resistance. This cigar may be a bit too much for beginners, but it is a necessity for experienced cigar enthusiasts. This was an amazing cigar experience and I could easily put this cigar into my regular smoking rotation. Once I know what this cigar is, I am going to hunt down a box." -Dave (Cigar Jukebox)
